  1. Yeah, a waif but qbs need to be better protected from these low blows to the legs. It could be Zach next time.
  2. No, it doesn't as Trudeau plays politics with climate change everyday. He'll lecture Italy about not doing enough on LGBTQ rights or climate change & say nothing to China. He's a hypocrite & certainly no leader. Trudeau can't win a majority in the HOC on his own regarding climate change measures. He has no mandate to bring in any of these climate taxes as he has a minority government being he's propped up by Jagmeet Singh & the NDP. Singh now there's a true piece of work. Pretending he's a true keyboard warrior on Instagram. Always criticizing Trudeau daily but when push comes to shove is a true coward supporting the Liberals. This Champagne Socialist has it pretty good with his cars & fancy suits. As well as his growing wealth & pension all courtesy of the Canadian taxpayer.
  3. DL coaches are also to blame here encouraging their guys to go low to get the qbs. The fine system in the CFL is much too low as are the suspensions. But we've been saying that for decades to deaf ears by the BOG's & CFLPA. They should a lose a minimum of a total game check when fined or more. Maybe that would change some players attitudes. But again, this is the CFL. So nothing will change.
  4. It was great when our oldest got to Grade 6/7 & looked after our youngest after school until we got home from work. He walked him to & from school as the two schools were very close. Our oldestwas very responsible kid at the time & really looked out for his younger brother. He didn't like it at the time but that's part of being a family. Everyone pitched in. We saved a ton of money on child care which was a relief.
  5. QB Tyrie Adams out for the season in Ottawa with a torn ACL after a low hit by Elks DL Jake Ceresna. What's with Ottawa & their qbs being injured. If they didn't have bad luck then they'd have no luck at all. Time to start really fining these DL who go low & crab their way to a qb's legs injuring them seriously.
  6. Some people will try to do both. I have no idea what child care in the US costs. I'm sure it's not cheap.
  7. Yeah, we know Trudeau is a true world "leader" & never points fingers at any other country. BTW, the words Trudeau & world leader is an oxymoron.
  8. My son's wife in Seattle works 100% from home & loves it. She's in her early 30's so she doesn't have the same habits & beliefs older workers have. Older workers probably have a harder time with self discipline working alone in a home office environment. They have no kids yet. Once the kiddies start coming then how do you work totally uninterrupted dealing with crying or sick kids? That's a challenge the'll both have to face in the future.
  9. The move was invented by NFL QB Coach Jack Elway in the 70's. There was a drill my son used to do practicing that exact move. It's called "Elway's Way". He used to spin the other way. Once he spun to his left in a HS game here in Calgary & didn't know a linebacker or DL was coming the other way to his left. He got pancaked & said "**** that". He told me that he wouldn't do that again. But he did, of course when he needed to. All the way thru college. To be really effective, a qb has to spin both ways. At the same time the DE on Fajardo's left has to be aware he's going to do that. Today, I don't think they coach that move anymore with the way young qbs are being taught to throw. Now qbs use different arm slots & just throw around a charging DL or linebacker suckering them in. We saw Collaros do that, I believe last game. However, I'd love JUST ONCE to see Fajardo get lit up like a Xmas tree when he does that.
  10. I played LOTW for the first time this season last game. I'm listed as having 4 strikes against me. I should only have one.
  11. Too many distractions at home. I don't have the self discipline to concentrate just on work. My home is my security. I don't want my bosses thinking it's okay to phone me at home. I also need a destination to go to in the morning as well as to interact with my co workers. I'd be miserable & unproductive. .
  12. What are you making fun of????
  13. i never could work from home. I'd hate it.
  14. I have a feeling he'll bounce back.
  15. Yeah other than Connor & Scheifle who's gonna score? Shut those 2 down & we're pooched.
  16. I'm just glad I'm retired & never have to worry about this again. I'll let you guys sort out the woes of the working world. Way more important priorities to think about.
  17. That's his running style. Lunch bucket & powerful back. He 's the working man's running back. Nothing fancy. Hits the hole & runs hard. But you can see that he's maturing as a back. He sees the holes much better & has really improved upon his blocking. The Bombers made the right choice to let Andrew Harris walk as a free agent.
  18. i think Droz was injured when D'Lo Brown attempted a powerbomb & it went horribly wrong. A real tragic event. Even though the injury was accidental, it really killed Brown's wrestling career. How could it not have?? Brown having to carry that guilt with him everyday. But Droz had a positive attitude despite the horrible circumstances that happened to him. Rest in Peace, Darren Drozdov. Yesterday, during the Men's MITB Ladder Match, an accident happened. Riccochet took Logan Paul off the top rope when perhaps he shouldn't have. Both men fell awkwardly into a table that was strategically placed ringside for that bump. It looked like both men weren't steady enough on the ropes to make that move safely. It just didn't look right. Paul went through the table face first. Pro Wrestling Torch reported yesterday that Logan was injured but it could have been a lot worse as Paul was able to tuck in & protect his head at the last moment. A match may have moves scripted but accidents can happen.
  19. And yet, we can go to Egypt & raid the Tombs of the Pharoahs, South America, Africa or uncover burial sites of ancient people. Can you say, "Hypocrisy"??? I knew ya could.
  20. What & sully my reputation? C'mon Mike.
  21. I've always liked this look. Throwbacks 2010.
  22. Good luck with that. Besides, how many of you were in 110% favour of the Cone of Silence from the Bombers when it comes to injuries? Saying it's none of our business knowing the injury status of players due to privacy?? Now, some of the same posters who lecture others on player privacy expect an update on a federal legal matter of a player dealing with his right to work in this country? You can't have it both ways. So, I'll just say what I've been told here rather impolitely by some when I complained the Bombers never tell us the injury status of players. As in, mind your own damned business. Just leave Lawler alone. Quit asking questions & complaining about a lack of updates on his status. It's a private matter between Lawler & federal authorities. He deserves his privacy & It'll be resolved when it's resolved. Not picking on you, rebusrakin but some here are total idiots telling others to lay off. Like I was told. I'm just laughing knowing it's some of the same posters who criticized me that just want to know... Sooooo. Bad. Well, suck it up.
  23. Meh, let the Globals actually earn a spot the same as Americans. They should be good enough to truly beat out an American player. Otherwise, I really don't care if they play in the CFL or not. If a global punter can come over here & beat out his opposition then that's great. Otherwise, don't care. I will say this, I went to the Stamps-Riders game last weekend. I'd never seen Cody Grace punt live. man, does that guy have a strong leg. He was booming them over 50 yards each time pinning the Riders back. Not only distance but towering punts as well giving his cover team down to get downfield to prevent any big returns. Not bad as a directional punter either but definitely his leg strength was a true asset for the Stamps D. The guy is a Global punter from Australia like Sheehan from the Bombers.
