  1. This doesn't look good for the BC Lions. The league can't afford to lose any of its star power to injury. The franchise in BC seemed to be making a comeback. If Adams is out any length of time, it could hurt attendance in Vancouver.
  2. Desperation. Football fans say why doesn't he sign with an NFL team that will give him a chance? No team will give him that chance as he's cleared waivers. That's what the NFL thinks of him. Rourke will sign with any NFL team that will appear to give him a chance but he won't get one. Taylor Heinecke is ensconced as the #3 qb in Atlanta. He has 7 years of NFL & XFL experience. As an NFL player, Heinecke has attempted 966 passes & completed 604 for 6,635 yards. He's thrown 39 touchdowns & 28 interceptions during his NFL career which started in 2017. I'll be shocked if Rourke dislodges Heinecke as #3 with that kind of experience.
  3. BC trying to be cute by showing us a lack of respect on that onside play. That took all the wind out of their sails & were out of it for the rest of the game. Good to see it happen to Campbell. I think he figured that the Lions offense can just turn it on when they want.
  4. Neufeld's done. He shouldn't play another down for us & retire. But we know what will happen when he can play. O'Shea will put him back in.
  5. Why would you worry about something like that now??? When we're 3-6 & only generated one TD this game. Woli's gone for 6 games. Schoen's not coming back this season so it wouldn't even be an issue. That was 2021/22 defense worthy. This guy showed up at practice this past week.
  6. I was reading on X today. Someone said that O'Shea says we don't need Bailey. He said the rookie receivers are doing just fine.
  7. Our OL is terrible. Just turnstiles.
  8. Johnson is useless. Someone said on social mediaa that O'Shea doesn't want Bailey back. That he's happy with our rookie receivers & the way they have played. OMFG. The guy is blind. Johnson should be replaced.
  9. Our two rookie corners are coming along nicely.
  10. Nice play by Ford.
  11. Not a mention of the Bombers. Hey, Lions have Hatcher back & Hollis plays inspires football. TSN must think we don't have a chance. We should just concede.
  12. I'm not a worn out fan. I just have absolutrly no confidence in Mike O'Shea being the Head Coach to pull a rabbit out of his hat to get this team into the playoffs. Now, the Bombers have 13 players on the 6 Game IL. We have no idea when some of these players are coming back because O'Shea says discussing injuries are off limits to media & fans. Thing is, how many of these players got hurt at the beginning of the season in the first 2 or 3 games because he let them play without practicing? Or let them sit out vast stretches of training camp or the entire camp itself because he felt that they needed to nursse their injuries along & besides... they're veterans & really don't need to practice. Like self inflicted gunshot wounds. Attitude here or on the team itself?
  13. I've been to Florida as well. It's something to see them gators in the water when looking down on an overpass or cloverleaf.
  14. Or a motor that never stops... my favourite Ameet Pall.
  15. I don't believe that this team is capable of doing what you suggest. We won't split with BC. we could split with Sask but we've dominated that team over the past 5 years that I think the pendulum has swung in their direction & they'll dominate us. I can't see this team winning more than 2 or 3 games. This is snowballing out of control but Walters & O'Shea don't seem to be concerned.
  16. Lineup changes only happen if players get hurt. Sit on their hands & do nothing.
  17. Johnny Bower may have been in his 50's when he played for the Leafs & won their last Stanley Cup in 1967.
  18. Desperation & begging. That's what it's come down to for Rourke. I don't get it...
  19. Season is ticking by & with it the playoffs. Now, Woli is injured & it's just another day at the office for the Bombers. No sense of urgency from our team. Next Man Up!! Even if they aren't good enough to play.
  20. I'd be surprised if they renovate. With the Olympic budget, they'll probably build a new one.
  21. Lol!!! Like O'Shea will tell us, ha ha. Yeah, these contracts for Number 3 receivers are pretty complex.
  22. The one disadvantage is he's in his 60's.
