Why do you think Judge was denied an all star spot?

What do you guys think of Cameron Judge not being named to the Western Division All Star team at OLB? He had 90 plus tackles, 5 interceptions with 1 pick six, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 forced fumbled & 2 sacks. Yet he never made it so to me that makes no sense. Judge is a player who plays on the edge & can be dirty at times. However, the talent can't be denied. It was an obvious snub. Was it his style of play that kept him off the team? If so, then what about Michael Awe? Or were his tackle numbers so impressive that there's no way he could have been kept off the team?? Judge should have been on the West All Stars & not Sean McEwen. Sean ******* McEwen???? WTF??

Since I got my flu & Covid shots in the middle of October, I've been to the Doobie Bros concert at the Saddledome, Then flew to & from Seattle in two crowded planes. Dealt with big crowds at the Seattle airport & went to the Seahawks-Browns game last Sunday at Lumen Field. So far, so good. I'd have been hesitant to do most of those things without being vaccinated. I try to wash my hands with hand sanitizer as much as I can.

Didn't make a lot of sense to change Crum from a scrambling & running qb to strictly a pocket passer. Khari tried to fit him into his system & it didn't work. Like trying to match a ball with a square. Coaches have to be able to build an offense around the strengths of their players which Jones didn't do. It's still ridiculous that Dyce stayed & Jones goes. Dyce is not a good HC.

No, you have to be a divisional all star first before you can be All CFL. Is there still the All Canadian Team?

These fan sites have been greatly affected by social media. How many big CFL chat sites are there anymore compared to 20 years? back then, I remember there was a couple of huge CFL chat sites that are gone now. Other than Argofans, Lionbackers, Riderfans & here there aren't many team chats left. Even the old site called Esksfans (not sure what it's called now looks to be shrinking). People go on X, Facebook, Meta or Instagram to post their thoughts. We're lucky to have this place just for Bomber discussion. Not your fault. There are deep seated resentments that manifest themselves here from time to time. They go back years. Doesn't take much for them to resurface on the strangest topics,

That is true. Like I said, how I feel about the RIP thread is just my opinion. I mean, the thing is here & when I feel inclined then I will comment. Would I miss it if it suddenly disappeared? No. However, like I already said, I know the thing ain't going nowhere.

Again, just my opinion & this thread is going nowhere but does every celebrity that dies make you feel sad? I'd say only about half may affect everyone enough to comment here, if that. Besides, most people are on social media & when a celebrity dies we know about it & can comment.

I somewhat agree with Goalie here about this thread. I have no idea why we need a thread about celebrities who died. Most, if not all who croaked would have no interest in any of us when alive. And it kind of a creepy subject anyway. I'd rather just have separate posts about people who died. If it was up to me, I'd close this thread. Just my opinion.

Why would we trade an all star qb who still is playing at a high level for an unproven kid in Brown who has played well on a team that's superior to any team he'll sign for? Do you think Brown will have the same high level performing offensive line, receivers & running back as good as he has now in Winnipeg? Not a chance. Look what happened in Calgary with the dumping of BLM for jake Maier? The Stamps were afraid to lose him to free agency. Now the few fans left in Calgary want Maier gone & think he's a crappy qb. I don't see Brown playing as well as he did here elsewhere. Schoen will want $300,000 like we're paying Lawler. And he deserves it. he's an elite CFL receiver. Same with Demski & Oliveira. They're elite & should be paid. More than just a few older veterans on this list will be let go. This team will get younger because they can't afford to stay old. .

No one will trade for Brown especially a canadian first rounder as he's a free agent in February. He's gone. after the season is over. Why can't we afford Schoen? It'll be time to break up some of the core & get younger in order to replenish the roster. No way we're returning next season with so many of the aame players.

It's dumb. It's cheap. I don't care if you think it's brilliant strategy. Leave it to some obscure STC to make a miockery of the rules & make the CFL look like more of a joke than it already is. Ottawa is dreadful. We knew they'd never beat the Argos. I can't stand just how bad that team is managed & coached. Every year it never changes.
