It would be even better if the Jets had already decided they wanted Puljujarvi! Anything on top of the 2nd overall for the 3rd would be a good deal. How about 3rd overall and CBJs 1st rounder next year for the 2nd pick? Since we're throwing around ideas.

Another reason I have a preference for Laine... his attitude. He's going to spend the rest of his career trying to prove that he should have been number one overall pick. There seems to be a fire there. If the Jets had number one, Matthews all the way.

I don't think you can say that Puljujarvi is better all around player. He may play a 200 foot game but most scouts put Laine ahead. It's close, I'm sure. Also, pointing out knee injury concerns when Puljujarvi just had knee surgery? I wouldn't riot, I wouldn't care. I'm sure whoever the Jets pick, they'll have their reasons. But I like Laine's shot and his physical game.
