    Covid-19

I'm not sure if you caught the end of today's Roussin presser but he said more restrictions were coming. When he hints like that, you know it's true. I'm still thinking schools will be closed to non-essential worker's children by the end of the week. I also think they may be locking things down. They'll do it for two weeks to see if there's an affect on the numbers, then extend it if it doesn't.
  2. Not indicted, not invited. Quite on brand for the GOP.
  3. He's great for the Euro Elite league. He should be one of the leaders of Team Canada at the WJC.
  4. But I worked at Zellers. So, when I say I had too many, I had too many.
  5. I spent too many hours at Zellers. Too many bacon-cheeseburger baskets in the Zellers Restaurant.
  6. This is what the world was thinking.
  7. And Sinclair media too. They're not big national network but they actively promote the GOP and their talking points.
  8. Some will break away but he's so wildly popular that it may be to their own demise. I would love to see that party pulled apart. It deserves everything it gets. The thing is that they have a very popular news network that will attack the Dems for four years and work to rebuild everything for them. It's an arm of the GOP.

    Covid-19

I'm pleased nothing is happening with the schools. I'm still a bit anxious that they will move to remote only but not for Monday, it seems.
  10. Remember, the Dems only need 50 seats in the Senate. In case of a tie vote, the deciding vote is cast by the VP, who happens to be...

    Covid-19

We're still two months away from that, unfortunately. But, Dems are putting the Covid stimulus bill back into play. Senate may be forced to vote for it or risk getting hurt at the polls in Georgia on January 5th. They won't like it but they won't want lose control. Stimulus cheques going out now to help those affected by the lockdowns and the hurting economy might win some votes. Of course, Trump may burn the whole party down as he exits the White House. I'm curious to see how that affects the January 5th runoff. Burn, baby, burn.
  12. Not yet but there is a team investigating it who have a good record of uncovering evidence of malfeasance.
  13. For most, him losing is the greatest moment of his career. What he says is irrelevant. He is a big piece of crap and he will remain that.
  14. For those that are confused where we stand:
  15. At this point, they're all in. Makes sense to stay with it unless they are proven wrong. Yes, they were clearly wrong to call it that early, due to the close tally, but it's not like it changes anything in the real world.
  16. It's a good move but kind of funny that he keeps coming back.
  17. For those wondering... There are quirks like this in every election (every election, everywhere), we just don't always hear about them.
  18. Biden is 15k behind Trump in GA. We'll see how the last votes counted go. Estimate of around 65k votes left to be counted.
  19. Only the best and brightest... OMG, that's literally a fight that goes on in my house! My youngest beat the elite four but hasn't completed the Pokedex, so my oldest says he hasn't finished the game.
  20. There are more Republican QAnon f***heads in Congress than black Republicans. Tells you all you need to know about that trash party. ... Start day drinking folks!
