  1. Lowry and Copp can be protected and Roslo won't be a Jet. If he is, let them take him.
  2. Each NHL franchise, minus the Vegas Golden Knights, will have until July 17, 2020, to submit their protection list. Then, the Kraken will have four days to examine them and finalize their selections for the 21st. As a quick and friendly reminder: The protection list can either be 1) seven forwards, three defensemen and one goalie or 2) eight total skaters and one goalie. Players whose contracts include a no-movement clause must be protected. All first and second-year players, as well as all unsigned prospects, are exempt from being drafted by the Kraken. https://thehockeywriters.com/seattle-expansion-draft-date-details/#:~:text=According to TSN's Bob McKenzie,Or 211 days. Capfriendly's Draft Simulator: https://www.capfriendly.com/expansion-draft/seattle So, who are the Jets going to protect? Here's my January 22nd preditction. Forward: Wheeler (NMC), Connor, Laine, Scheifele, Ehlers, Lowry, Copp Defense: Morrissey, Pionk, Stanley Goalie: Hellebuyck

One player is vilified and the other is heralded. One is "worth" $500k per year and the other needs to take a pay cut.
  4. The only thing holding us together is this legal document and some vague notion of nationality. You open it up and everything falls apart.
  5. I don't think you understand. The PM can't do that. That's not allowed. You really want to open up the constitution? Head of state, yes. Wasn't thinking.
  6. Head of Government. The Queen's representative. Can't be no one.
  7. 203, pretty close. But, at some point, he just won't be able to do it. It takes a lot of energy to be president (45, notwithstanding).
  8. Biden will be 82 on November 20th, 2024.
  9. We'll see about Heinola. Niku though... eek.
  10. I could still see them taking an OL. Although, I hope not. Argument being that you will lose them to injury, retirement, free agency, etc. and it's best to always be developing the next one(s). Maybe Walters picks an NFL bound player with the hopes that they shake loose?
  11. Trade him now before anyone else figures this out. I'm surprised given how quickly he adapted to the AHL. I know it's a different level but the fundamentals are the same.
  12. Do they still have returners in the NFL? There are so few actual returns done, it seems like a waste.
  13. Two years to get stuff done. They need to kill the filibuster and put their heads down. Cocaine Mitch is a useless tool who only cares about power.
  14. None of words make any sense any more. What's a Press Secretary and why the need for a "Press Briefing"? Is this even in English?
  15. It was most definitely not written by Pence. Assuming they had already packed Trump's crayons, it was probably written by Miller and kept brief. Wishes him luck and blah, blah, blah, nothing but.
  16. Niku and Roslo out the door would be the right direction. Get something for them before their value plummets. I hear the Penguins are interested in Roslo? If they Jets look as bad as they did in the past couple of games, I think we need to replace our GM. Not going to happen, in-year, I know, but I don't want Chevy making deals just to push things along. Time to clear out management and coaches, and let them make some hard decisions on blowing up this team.
  17. I'm putting this here because the Bernie memes are funny but it's tied into US politics. I doubt many not interested in US politics would care to see it.
  18. We didn't do any of that in 2020.
  19. Probably includes the repeated lies like being man of the year in Michigan and Veteran's Choice, etc.
  20. You can't look at spending across one department. Infrastructure has renewable energy, Natural Resources, etc. all have pieces of the renewable energy. And, some of it is Provincial jurisdiction. Skills development is one piece, for sure.
  21. Oil is vitally important to our current economy but not so in the future. We still need oil for fuel and plastics but that is changing very quickly. Oil is cheap and will remain cheap. Alberta was smart to divest their economy knowing that it wouldn't last forever. Their economic reserves and investment into new technologies will pay off for generations to come. Norway, not Alberta. Ooops.
  22. The guy threw for no TDs and one INT in the WF. Maybe, it's time to stop stroking him?
  23. Won't work. Americans can't handle anything more than two parties, which is why it's so entrenched in the political system. No one will give him money to start a party. I bet he and his fellows dimwits just continue to cause chaos within the GOP.
