It's too much. The league and PA need to find a way to make contracts longer. We need 2 to 3 year deals to be the norm, not the exception. We know that one year deals were pushed by the PA for various reasons but it all comes down to money and certainty. Let's find a solution.

The CBA expires before training camp. So, not only is the shortest offseason ever (hooray!!) but the league and the PA need to negotiate a new deal with the pandemic still hanging over us and the impact that has had on the finances of the league. Godspeed to the negotiators.

We had 4 QBs at training camp. Streveler didn't come in as no 2 in 2018, so we know that they are willing to change.

I don't understand? Same way you know about any other untested QB - you scout him. Lapo would know about him. We obviously scouted him, brought him in and kept him. The CFL is full of QBs who have bounced around.

I don't think one game would dissuade other teams. If one game is the mark, there are several HOF QBs who would not have survived.

Right but Castillo punts too. Did Liegghio develop into a good punter? I would like to see some of the statistics, comparing him to others. I'm not sure what to do with Liegghio. Do we need to develop a kicker, if we can keep Castillo?

Anything that goes widely off the mark is a Fajardo. --- But, really, I guess he and McGuire can be included because other teams could try to lure them.

But, BC took the gamble that Reilly, who was making a big percentage of their salary cap, would stay healthy. We ran with 3 and most teams did. I just wish it was up to the individual teams to make that decision and leave them the ability to dress 3 QBs. Technically, I know they can but it costs them a DI.
