Well, we don't know the reason Lemon didn't sign with us, now do we? By the way, the money we saved by not getting Lemon, is on the table now.. They would saved some monies by not paying Picard and Hurl's salary, but they still would have to pay 2 starters at those positions in any event, so the savings would be less, and at least one of them would have to be an NI, so there's that.And... Penton, who even knows more than CapGeek, says the Bombers have lots of cap space remaining, and are pursuing Muamba. Already had players on the roster to put in those position. Goosen at centre and Newman at outside linebacker. I wonder what excuse the bombers willl give if they don't sign any guys coming back up north. There's lots of time left this season and they should if possible be trying to improve this team on both sides of the ball.

Keep in mind that a centre who can't block nor snap consistently anymore is getting $200,000 all in. And that's one of the reason's we couldn't get Shawn Lemon and might prohibit us from bidding on future free agents this year. The bombers are probably tapped out with some of the summer free agent contracts they gave out. They didn't need Picard or Hurl that's an easy 300k that they could use now to help either side of the ball.

If you want Henoc here you gonna have to over pay, believe he'll want to play in the east and if dollars are the same that's where he goes. Also i would not pay him anywhere close to 250,000 that's just way to much for a lb.

Kosmo will be in the AHL this year, still has a way to go. Lemieux will go back to juniors for another year, definitely a very good prospect future Jet down the road.

I will focus more on both tackle positions against the riders to see whose getting double teamed. I'm just feel that he's been neutralized this year when in the past he caused havoc from his position.

What do you honestly expect from him though? Lots of sacks and tackles for a loss? Seems to me he's sort of taking the role of big strong guy trying to make room for others in the defence this year. That's not a position that generally gets yourself covered in glory. I expect push up the middle from a defensive tackle , disrupt the play ,shed block , make a tackle once in a while, keep OL off the LB. He's just not doing that this year.

Anderson has been a disappointment for me this year i expected more from him. I do know if he is still bothered by last years injury but his play has been below average this year.

Really tho...Marshall isn't a washed up has been. If he was used properly he would easily be a 1000 yard rusher and money scoring inside the 5 Wasn't talking about Marshall, he has potential, my comment was directed at Chevon Walker

How is Nichols washed up exactly? I agree on the walker signing tho.. Fail big time. He played with a better RB tandem better WR and better OL and he couldn't get the job done. He's also have some serious injuries in the 3 plus years in the CFL. Career backup who on a good team is not a starting QB, and apparently can't be the back up either
