Voter suppression and made up charges, Georgia GOP going all in, Democrats better take the kid gloves off before the Republicans eat them alive

Jets would have to give way to much for Ekholm, supposedly he loves Nashville so the chances of re signing him would be slight, plus does Nashville really want to trade to us when we will back in the same division next year, Savard on the other could slide right next to Morrissey and would be a good fit, plus we would have a better chance to re sign him after this year

For sure we get a little funky over there but most of the time there is a lot of good back and forth just not after a loss 😁 -
Expansion Draft - Seattle Kraken Edition
bustamente replied to JCon's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
I don't think many thought that Stanley was a bust it's just that many thought he didn't warrant the Jets taking him in the 1st round and wanting him to be ready for the jump a lot earlier, sometimes even a 1st needs time to show what he can do and while he will may never live up to some's expectations of being a top pairing he will be protected in the XD and he will get better in the years to come, patience rewarded for the Jets -
This is a little off topic but I'm watching an AFL game from Australia this morning on tape they are playing in the MCG which is massive, crowd size is a little over 50K and when they pan the crowd no one is wearing masks, Australia has done a great job with this virus. My take away, it may take a while but we will be back in Arena's and Stadium's watching our favourite teams but we need patience, first step for the CFL is get the league restarted by any means possible if that means distanced fans at the beginning so be it eventually the parks will fill up again except in Toronto where they can socially distance all year long. Players has 2 choices they can play or retire but the league must continue and make plans to become stronger and more economically viable , in the end everyone will benefit and that includes the players

Does anybody think that they will do anything about gun control, I gave up hope after all those kids were killed and they did nothing, young children couldn't move the needle.so it's the same old playbook shock, horror, sadness thoughts and prayers then finally anger and on to the next one

Take a haircut and play football, nix the haircut and fold the league, it's an easy decision for me but for some maybe not

Stupidity is writing another chapter

It seemed that Pallister and his cronies were all ready to move down to Orange last week, something spooked them and unfortunately we will find out that cases and tpr are going to ramp up in the next few weeks in the Winnipeg area, anyways smart move to extend Code Red till after the holiday's all the while getting more and more vaccinated

So much winning in America, wonder if the dead and their families and friends feel this way

Joel Armia, and Jesperi Kotkaniemi are the 2 Habs that have gone on the Covid Protocol list, might be more in the coming days, have to keep an eye out on the Canucks as they just played the Canadiens.

Politicians are in a race to see who can get to the bottom of the barrel and it looks like Americans love it how else can you explain what has been going on, is it power, greed, racism, dominance or all of the them combined, the cesspool in the States is wide and vast for these types
-
Really glad for all of you and any loved ones that have had the shot or are getting it in the near future, this is the only way to stay safe and control the virus, we may never be able to eradicate it but we should be able to temper the results of this virus
-
How nice considering that they have not okayed the use and probably never will in the States
-
Hey the Killer was having a bad day, the people he killed don't have to worry about that anymore, their dead, it's sad how casual Americans have become about mass murders
-
I thought we were done with cases showing up at care homes but apparently we are not
-
Until 65- 70% of the population are vaccinated expect a roller coaster of new cases especially with the new variants, get your shots people when it's your turn, supposedly we will be getting less doses in the coming week, but then a flood of doses will arrive from both Pfizer and Moderna and also Astra Zaneca and J&J
-
Active cases finally got adjusted and fell under 1000, yes numbers in the North have gone up but those should start falling in the coming week, numbers in the Winnipeg area considering that restrictions have eased a bit and in dining is slowly happen is about as good as can be expected number wise, week by week more and more are getting vaccinated and while we may never fully eradicate this virus we are well on the way to controlling it and treating it.

As always keep your eye on TPR, for me that's the important one, that and seeing people leave the hospitals as healthy as they can be
