Hes a blood n guts type guy. A real football player like him, not just an athlete can often be more prone to injuries if you try to protect them. Wild, mo, and hurl is a lot better then what we have now. It wont fix systemic problems, but we arent going to fix those with a player either. Hurl and the MLB spot is one of the biggest i would like to see an upgrade at, but would also be maybe the hardest spot to upgrade by it self. Idk where we would start another NI to go IMP there. And a starting NI mlber thats an upgrade to hurl isnt some thing we can pull out of our butt. Poop, and jeffcoat are way too good to not have as starters. Hey we should have addison richards back him up / rotate too!

Thought about that as well, he has the quickness/speed for sure but at his now 267 weight its not a position he could maintain very long. Bear woods oh wait. Idk what talent would look great at mlb in our system tbh. It been mentioned a few other times in other threads and chats but we could get a cover saftey and have loffler take hurls roll. Have him play more of a mid field / rover position.

nik lewis light, and considering thorpe is built like a good size cfl RB thats saying some thing haha. Very much the same play style though good comparison.

I hear that, i watched the pre leaked 4-5 episodes last year and was miserable waiting for the next one haha. Its just a couple days so i indulged but if it was a bunch i wouldnt do it again.

Watched the pirated release of GoT s7-e4. No spoilers of course. Just its cookin up for a great back half of the season.

Thats true, but we need to not give up 10 yards per carry to the feature back and good yardage to any one who carries. That isnt purely on hurl. Our DL getting after the qb soo much is gonna open lanes. But our front 7 need to limit those back breaking long runs. And while not limited to hurl, that does include him.

I dont think they are biased against us. No grand conspiracy here. Its just the way we play with an edge is not advantageous with the current rule enforcement. This is what happens with a nasty first OL. The reffing in the league IS problematic though. No consistency in PI calls. I think if they put PI back to how its supposed to be in Tackle Football with the challenge change the game would improve drastically and the refs would have room to breath.

1 MO. after a rough start the D played really well against a dangerous offense. 2 Nichols and the whole passing attack. Missed some near big plays by a tiny bit, and got jobbed by the refs a couple times. But nichols with a chance to win the game drove the team. JFG stepped up early with a ton of catches. Lankford with the long bomb, and thorpe was making some thing happen every time he touched the ball. That guy is a real keeper. 3 Chris randle. The huge fumble recovery, catch play which was crazy. Seldom gets his due credit for just being a blanket. HH loffler smashing i think sinopoli with seconds to go leading to a ball in the dirt. Human truck.

if we had an OC competent to run such a scheme sure. Some 2 back action, harris in a H back type back field some would be great. But weve seen a decent number of games with flanders as DI and 0 use.

Thats the question, he was a prized returner in college and returner prospect so i would think so but at the cfl level every thing changes.

They dont give up in the 4th. But a team that rides the momentum and disappears for half the game isnt exactly quit free. Still making it interesting at worst in the clutch is far better then what we were subjected to prior to the mos era.

If he wants to be edgy and controversial, leak an idea of what type of injures guys actually have. Or snoop some info about neglist etc. Hard ball them in the presser over some one like bear woods etc. not saying thats a good idea, but if u want to be the edgy reporter that would be drastically better imo. Agree about that form of media not being needed any more. With knuckles on the radio, and taits articles on the bombers site other such media are kind of a waste imo. His articles on BB.com are just fantastic. Like, tait has allways been gold. But him just focusing on the blue is great. IF any thing id like to see more from doug brown. His experienced player pov, kind of insider stuff that isnt tilted for or against the blue, or the league is just great. The team, and the league need more :young" media/broadcasters like him.

QFT. Id say im pretty critical of coaching, and mos in general. But Idk how wiecek can say he doesnt take responsibility. Every time hes interview after the team struggles, or loses he takes all the responsibility. Mos isnt the most hated coach on the staff today. I think more people dislike our oc/dc then mos. Most hated bomber hc is a joke. Attendance is down a bit aside from the couple freak markets. The jets in part dip the bombers attendance once their season starts up. The team being average in record and only turning it around mid way through last year has more to do with it. The dark ages 2.0 really rocked the blue fan base, they will need to sustain some winning and play at a high level to rebuild the base back to the point we draw 30k every home game. not to mention stop pooping the bed at home. This is a poor attempt at a scape goat. The problem with the blue isnt one dimensional.

He did, but goal line tackling for the reason loffler was the one who made the tackle is easier. Every one is much closer to the line. You also dont play for the hit nearly as much, even if you are a hitter over wrap n tackle guy like loffler. Sts is far different from D. Our defensive unit (when healthy) has a few exceptional 1 on 1 tacklers. Especially with the injuries, but also with the changes in personnel on the front 7 its hard to have that continuity. Gang tackling is all about one guy getting to the ball carrier and trusting that others will follow. We dont have that. What YPC did mtl end up with? 6.9, 24, 21, 7.5 for durant and 2 on one short plunge for vernon.

I tend to agree, this is probably the best qb depth weve seen since KG backed up khari. And I dont even know before that. I think fever could pick up pretty well if nichols was hurt. Davis' lack of action would scare me greatly if he went in atm. Though he probably has more up side then fever. But the PTSD wont subside soo easily from seeing solid - good starters go down and pure bunk come in after. Not any time soon.

When tackling goes bad you see guys flying by, whiffing, not filling gaps, and guys trying to solo tackle. When tackling goes well you see a lot of wrap up and gang tackling. We havent seen the ladder in a long, long while.

As a bombers fan, 3 things terrify me. Other teams back up QBs, teams on a bad skid, and our starting qb getting hurt.
