You mean like ricky ray and terry vaughn + ed hervy? That type of timing slant is really hard to defend. Fajardo has used that as a major crutch too, especially last year.

A guy like flex te bucky hodges. He had a solid career at virginia tech. Bounced around the NFL but didnt get much of a shot. 6'6 260 and crazy, crazy athletic. 40 inch vert, massive broad jump 4.5 speed. And he was originally a dual threat QB, he can run the rock and do all kinds of things. Had a cup of coffee in the XFL but hes sittin at home. There are a TON of guys like that sitting around. If they were DEs half the cfl would have them on the NL on skill set alone. But thats OT. Remember Tony Ortiz? Mr TC / pre season MODP. I swear he was up here in camp 4 times. I think he broke camp once but didnt do much. -

St chris the strevelator was his own thing. Though also thoroughly enjoyable. He was like a FB with HB speed playing QB. I want the OL/DT sized guy who runs, catches, and blocks. -

Right? Soo much. I remember him finally being done in washington and getting a look from philly in 2012(?) and waiting for the ticker to say he signed here. Heck I bet he could still block and play special teams like a MFer. He was really a head of his time, the flex TE is starting to push to involve every thing he did for us soo long ago. -
The real issue is khari is their OC, play caller and QB coach too. Itll either be bobby gorgeous calling the plays or this quality control assistant lionello calling the plays. Or they have bolduc wear all the hats.

For medlock to come up here away from his family and self isolate n junk, they may as well pay him a kingly some to finish the season. -

Id love to see a 30 set with stove on the nose, thomas and sayles at 3/4I, willy and jeffcoat over the edge with biggie at a normal mac depth. 5 on 5 no one comes out alive. -
Up next on CFL after dark, matty and bluto with the alternative R rated game day play call. Id pay for that.

Thats odd, because as I recall they were friends and knew each other casually as smith I believe was training or moved to sac town at one point. They talked alot about split back formations and running things like they did with mike sellers. Blink had issues sharing the touches with mills and blount, who were average at best but I never heard of any issues with him sharing the rock with sellers. Smith came in way out of shape. Like 35 pounds heavy iirc. It was the rights to our first round pick that year, corey mace. xD. Remember when we added the neg list rights to Brock Lesnar after he was the last cut by the vikings? HIs pro day with the vikings was bananas. Still one of the most athletic bigs ive ever seen. If he had dedicated to 1 sport he couldve been insane. -

Honestly, putting him right back in the first practice is bad form no matter what. He doesnt need the reps at this point. He shouldve been holding a clipboard no matter what. Its poor player management. When you have a concussion, even a mild one you are at a severe risk to aggravate it. And that can be done with out taking a shot. A lot of things can trigger that response. Ive seen a guy go from seemingly ok to in serious trouble just sneezing during a concussion week. They had 6 days between games. Fajardo shouldve at best practiced part of the last 2 practices. Its a hard decision for when a guy comes back from a concussion. The only bad decision in recovery is rushing it. -
https://3downnation.com/2021/09/14/cody-fajardo-takes-first-team-reps-at-practice-following-concussion-scare/ Fatjartoes is back taking first team reps with the riders.

Kennoy kennedy. The dawkins hit was great too. Bettis was the bus, but mike sellers was the truck. -

Butcher was a 1 on 1 monster, even in camp here. He was such a force they moved him to OL. DT was really deep at that point. He came back for a 2nd tc with indzandt another work out monster converted to OL. Both were really too raw to crack the roster though. -

Yeah he did not move like a big man. I remember with washington a player where he hurdled a DB after a great stiff arm. His quick feet where a huge part of his success. One of my favorite short term bombers to watch. Also a great hit from sellers was vs detroit he murdered a S who was a pretty good hitter him self. -

https://www.cfl.ca/top-performers-2/ No bombers, in fact none in the top 12 for the year. https://3downnation.com/2021/09/14/winnipeg-being-winnipeg-doing-dirty-stuff-riders-dumbfounded-andrew-harris-was-not-ejected-after-melee/ What clowns.

Omg yes. And that if kenton keith got as many carries as blink he'd put up way more yards. That him and holmes were both better. I also remember blink being pulled from the game and the bombers thinking he had a meniscus tear but it was turf toe. And for a game and a half Mike Sellers was our half back. And in one of those games he destroyed the riders defense to a hysterical degree. I also remember keith stokes filling in at RB for a game and being very dynamic. At his peak, the down fall though came quickly. -

Maybe the most under rated bomber of the last 20 years, gavin walls. He didnt have the 10 year career to get to the hof sack level but for 5 years he was some thing special. For games, Id submit a 3 game series. The year is 2000, the enemy is the montreal alouettes. Montreal was a contender, a 12 win team that year. We had been stuck in the dark ages for far too long. But coach Ritchie and his guys showed what was to come. 3 regular season games against the als. We lose by 2. We win by 3, we lose by 6 then we lost by 11 in the east final. We also played them in the pre season and lost 38-22. 4 games and us being a hungry team on the come up made for bad blood. A LOT of bad blood. We fought and clawed, constantly on the verge of play off elimination that year. Starting out 1-3-1. We finished 7-10-1 OT, and toronto finished 7-10-1. But we lost an over time game to break the tie in the standings and go back to the play offs . I firmly believe that these games with the Als are what steeled our core and prepared us for the 2001 run. In the week 11 (I think not sure) match up I remember it being back and forth, close down to the wire. Montreal was deep in our zone and went for it on 3rd and goal. Lamar mcgriggs hurried AC who threw incomplete. And was flagged for RTP. The call was horrible and the fans erupted. We ended up getting flagged for throwing junk onto the field as well. But we went on to win and the crowd reaction was as if we had won a play off game. Dont have any links to the other games, but here is the east final. In the early 2ks I hated the als much more than the riders. That rivalry was pretty tough for a while. -
The underrated career of Charles Roberts

Banks quits, if he gets hit. Or if he doesnt get the ball. Or if the gets the ball too much. Or if he doesnt get the call he wants. Or of he drops the ball. Or if his bidet doesnt play let it be and contain rose pedal water.... If I made a list of my top 5 least favorite cfl players, he would probably take 2 or 3 spots. -
I miss typed it. Its Glenn young not jordan younger.

He fell back with two dl on him watch jake thomas' helmet rides up into fajardo's and drives his head back to the turf. 4.27 set speed to .5

Lets also remember that We were running troy mills and eric blount twice as much as we ran blink, while mills and blount struggled to get 4 yards per touch and blink was getting almost 7 per touch. He also played 17 games in 2001. Blink would lead a drive down to the deep red zone then he'd get pulled out for blount and mills to finish the drive. A lot more players today would quit if they had to put up with that, and not "quit" by playing all but 1 game. (iirc he was on the PR for week 1)
