  1. That would be good. Wonder if he kicks him self for not playing now. Usually the wr market is Shallow. But this year it's fairly deep.
  2. Yep carlton agudosi. 6 foot 6 lanky and athletic. But really it's gonna be more reps for McKnight. They love him like crazy.
  3. He is that electric. Also every roster is half empty or more. Iirc the gap between the salary floor and cap is around a million bucks. That can fit a whole lot of raises league wide. But I mean the ticats cheated the ratio like 4 times last year late in games and got a slap on the wrist. If the cap gets tight for teams giving crazy money now it likely means more rookies on the roster. But if a great vet comes available no one will hesitate.
  4. I get why you say that but this guy isn't your average nfl mid term return man. This guy is dangerous af with the football in his hands. This is a lucky Whitehead level pick up. Also he missed 2020 because of covid. He decided to sit it out. I would be thrilled if we had got him. Isn't this basically half the riders signing bonus cap for the year? Am I out to lunch or what.
  5. Lions sign deanthony Thomas. Great Pick up. It'd be scary good to have him on the field at the same time as lucky.
  6. I'd rather have him at or under 150 or not at all tbh.
  7. Pretty sure that play was spearing too. He is soo similar to Cooper kupp in his game just with less volume. But as a person is like a keanue reeves meme
  8. Guy is an animal. I have a feeling if you asked him to play on semi pro team and the schedule didn't over lap that he'd be all over it. Idk if any one else loves playing football as much as he does.
  9. Didn't the Lions have the most expensive ol last year too lol. I think edm was no2. Top tier book end and defensive star. If we swapped one of our ends for him we wouldn't miss a beat. Love watching him play.
  10. That and an entire hof career worth of tds between em lol. Geroy is no2 in my books. But milt is in a tier all by him self. He was like prime Doug flutie. Danny Barrett probably threw for more yards in 1 game then the entire career of half the guys who tossed a pass to milt.
  11. Not only that but dbs got away with absolute murder back then. Till the early 2ks vice cover was one guy playing press cover doing his best to not let you get down field then after 10 yards 2 of them doing it. I've never seen wrs get mugged soo bad as the cfl in that era.
  12. The only hard thing for milt is dealing with every one's envy of how pretty he is lmao. That and his wedding ring is real lonely.
  13. Don't think so. Not soo much that he couldn't but he took cash to put him self in a bad position. It's harder to succeed at wr with out support than most positions.
  14. Truth. Nichols would also be great to get back. Little on it he can manage to add to the team. Qft That guy could play.
  15. Blames his wrs for not catching enough 50 50 balls. But it plays into his martyr complex.
  16. Lawler is a great wr. I would pay 250k a year for the right wr. But that wr would have to be dynamic with the ball in his hands. Milt level of greatness alone would also do it. He would still get the same nfl window while under contract. Same as any one else now. The thng is the production He would see in bc with no ol more than questionable qbing and the two no1 wrs would kill his nfl chances. He didn't get an offer off this year. He wouldn't see near the same touches in bc. They are ni. And they are growing every year but they aren't ready to Start in tandem. No need go coddle ba. And our defense needs him as much as any player.
  17. That is good logic on paper. But unless you have the ol the rest of the pieces don't much matter.
  18. Nah that oline was putrid. It wasn't Reilly. The bad side tackle.
  19. Pretty much. After schiltz you have vets who barely have a pulse. If he's terrible what do you call brown and McGuire? 😄
  20. Tough to say. He's a big db but he's mostly been a corner iirc. He has the physical tools thatd be pretty good. Tough to compete for them when they already have the 2 most over rated over paid dbs in the league.
  21. Shiltz is an interesting one. Don't blame him for trying fa. Could be a prized back up on the contenders. Or could get a starting job in ott.
  22. I wonder if the Bombers go after derrick moncrief again. Darby was great at sam but he'd be as good at half if he comes back. Moncrief and ba are the two best fa dbs available and moncrief fills that new generation big sam who can fill run fits even better. I'd love to see ba Darby moncrief rose Nichols Taylor and maston as our dbs going into camp next year. At the same time the Bombers seem like they can find great young dbs and develop them well.
  23. Thing is he was reported that he was slow in camp with the bills and then banged up. He's young to have lost a step but he was never fast he is big and he has been injured. Any team that signs him should work him out first. Amazing talent questionable head and questionable body. The riders gave him stupid pro rated money I don't think any one is going to give him that kind of money. I'd take Lawler lucky Lewis weineke and Burnham over what i saw from Duke last year. Lewis lucky Lawler and wenieke could kick it into another gear still.
  24. I for sure wanted duke. Thing is, he looks like he's lost more than a step, and was a real bag of dicks with the riders. Maybe he's a guy who would fall in line with fifo. Could be one of those agitators you love to have and hate to play against. But at his reduced speed and questionable health he's a high risk high reward player. I wouldnt want to pay him elite money at this point. If duke williams is comparable money to walker, and he'd fit the locker room then sure. If he's significantly more money than the guys in the walker tier Id pass even if he is a locker room fit. And I dont think he'd be a locker room fit.
  25. Enjoy a year of running to the sidelines after going 2 and out while the team flips between the corpse of trevor harris' career and rourke. If we are gonna spend money to replace lawler with a high level FA weineke is the guy Id go for. Young and with tons of up side. Jaelon acklin or steven dunbar would be good too. One of those could possibly save room vs a guy like burnham too. More likely and to me preferable (out side of getting weineke) is one or maybe even 2 low risk high reward guys. RJ harris, BJ cunningham, huff or ambles, or posey. Even guys like ellingson and walker from edmonton are due to take a real pay cut. And walker is still like 30 too. If we return to camp with Lawler, Bailey, demski and woli then the front office has worked some real magic. I wouldnt be surprised if mcknight would be penciled in as the new no5 wr especially if darvin isnt retained.
