If as a vet and a ni star mos loses trust in you you have fked up at the highest level. We've seen countless times him ride or die with fringe at best players because he trusted them. Can't say how disappointed I am in the ending. But the time is right for the Bombers to move on from Andrew Harris. It would've been a bad move to give him 150k this year. He's gonna be 35 he couldn't stay healthy last year and he lost mos trust. Plus we got 3 excellent nis to battle for every rb spot in camp.

5 foot 8 is certainly sub optimal. Normally it takes considerable quickness or speed to over come that. But it can be done. He really isn't quick or explosive. Check out his ras rankings. His max speed and acceleration are all really poor. He scored like a 2.5 out of 10. The only quantitative that he did above the average in is vert. That can show a guy is quick and not fast like Charles Roberts. But his broad jump 10 yard time and 3 cone were all terrible too. If you watch him in his limited action here he shows no separation. Remember his college competition level was really low. His school is the most border line d1 team ever. 1 bowl game and 1 play off in 30 plus years. It's basically d3 quality football. They were soo bad in the 80s they shut down the program for like 5 years. His college tape has to be taken with a serious grain of salt. He was his teams best player and that's why he was the kr. But he wasn't very good at that in college. He's a 5 foot 8 185 lbs version of Duke Williams. He's a go up and get the ball possession wr. He's not a yac guy he's not going to out run or burst away from any cfl db.

He's not too short to play wr. He is far too slow to be a return man though. He runs like Duke Williams. He's a crafty possession wr. Despite his size he is not a twitchy or fast guy to stretch the d or do damage after the catch.

I'd take him in a heart beat over brown. He's pretty much been a replacement level back up qb up to 21. He didn't show poorly in the spot start in 21 though he didn't light it up either. If he's cheap and doesn't come at the expense of streveler or a blue chip qb prospect it'd be a solid pick up for tc.

But for like 5 hot minutes he lead the league in picks.

Between Houston olumba and Hampton we already have a tremendous completion for the final spot amongst the vets. I wouldn't write off them trying to go rotational ni in the secondary to replace kongbo. They like Thompson and love the Halletts. Plus kramdi and they could draft another. Dobson we won't know much till we see nfl combine invites and the pro day.

I feel bad for the guy. The worst thing in sports is to have the desire to play but for your body to fail you. I felt the same way about buck.

Both are more than serviceable blockers. Neither is Andrew Harris blocking. But both can block and catch well enough. Plenty of backs in the league are worse at either.

Adams McKnight and Nelson combined to go 45 for 76 for 566 yards. Woli had one of the highest catch rates while adams was just barely above a coin toss. Blocking has nothing to do with it. Sheed did as much blocking and as well.

I don't see what they do in McKnight. But they are crazy about him. Yep. I think elington is elite again if he gets the touches and looks Lawler did. Hoping some low risk high reward vets ring chase on cheaper deals too.

Also we need to keep flexibility to be able to bring back alford if he gets cut.

Honestly from how he looked in limited action i don't blame him. And imo if a guy is looking like that it's time to move on. Strevy would be the dream. Out side of that I don't see any vet being the fit.

Not at all. Have you watched Darvin the last two seasons? Over that time elingson has doubled Darvins production. You have to go 3 Years back to see Darvin be a legit no1 no no2 wr. Ellingson would've put up 1k easy in 21 if he had a qb with a pulse. Really elingson replaces Lawler and Adams be replaced at worst by McKnight. Wont take much to upgrade that production in a premium slot spot. Woli would be an immediate upgrade and McKnight could be the decoy wr.

Idk what the worst contract is this off season either. Mbt and Arbuckle got way too much money. Lawler got qb money Duke got a kings ransom and solid defensive players are getting willy j money.

The best back with the ball in his hands in the league. It's befuddling that he hasn't improved his hands. He would rush for 2k behind our ol with plop level touches.

jojo wicker, he's very much like sayles. A guy who can really get after the qb and make plays side line to side line out of the DT spot. Not huge, and not a nose, but other wise a blue chipper for sure. 3 year starter, 102 tackles, 32 TFL, 12.5 sacks, 4 pdl 4 ff. He's 6'3 and started college at 272, went pro at 290 ish.

Pair him with winston rose and the combo are worth 250k. The CFL has lost its damned mind. I've pretty much come to expect that stove, harris, and lawler are gone. Sucks, I love those 3 guys. But this is how dynasties are maintained. Cant wait to see who they bring in as the next man up.
