Looking at our roster I fully expect to see At least 1 more imp lber, 3 total DL, 2 total OL, 1 qb, 1 imp rb, and easily 2+ wrs. Possibly as many as 4 or 5 wrs. I think most of those will be first year guys, or none cfl starters. But I would be surprised if we didn't see another couple for NFL cast offs with high upside. And I don't think we will see any hesitation to offer a strong deal to guys like desjarlais, kongbo, alford and dobson should they come free. We also currently have 19 guys 25 or younger. Which is pretty crazy in the cfl. That's opposed to 16 guys age 30 or older. If any thing, we have the most game day roster in the league right now, and the ability to cut rookie contracts and save a ton of cash for a big name guy. I don't trust the reported numbers any more then I trust a riderfan with their attractive cousin. I would love if it leads to proper roster cost reporting, even if not reporting specific player deals. But don't try n tell me al those former all star WRs the elk signed are playing for league minimum. Or that BC has the largest warchest after the crazy huge deals they've handed out. Every one BC has signed has been a huge over pay.

Ali and legs are raw enough that they could improve significantly. The other two are pointless to bring in. Sergio stuck around here for most of a year with the best kicker in league history in front of him. When he was let go he went to another team right away and was medlock esq then found his way to the nfl. Hilarious to try and paint that as negative. Not to mention no Castillo no cup last year. I think it seems less bad than it is considering Duke and Lawler coming for 580k. In a normal cfl world with top wrs getting 150k to 200k its as bad as Duke and lawlers deals. Factoring in possible incentives it could be worse. Darvin drops way too many and disappears way too much. His touches went down because he can't stay healthy and isn't reliable. Chris brazzell was better and more consistent in his first 2 years here than Darvin was the last two. He was dropping balls like bowman but with out production.

Makes total sense to have these guys come in on a discount seeing as most wouldnt get a look other wise. Right? I feel like the global player system is just starting to take off and poised for great success in the next few years. When the waves of talent really start getting better, and they will, we may have to increase the first contract to cfl rookie levels. The Bombers had a 2 year deal with him and the league vetoed it because it was above the salary limit for globals. They are capped at 11k less than rookies. Blake Jackson was the toast of tc and on track to Start and has returner stuff. Demski should only return if it's him or a Charles Nelson. Qft. But kr is pretty easy to scout too. In the end I think Grant will be back. Right now dedmon is the only vet kr worth serious money.

I don't think he's elite. He is world's better then the rest of the crap we've had for a bit. And he is very good. They probably made a flat offer and are busy with every thing else going on. No one else is going hard after him either.

One of my greatest bomber memories. Those were hard days to be a bomber fan leading into it. So this crazy once in a life time karma was just beautiful. One of my favorite bomber DEs. He was such a joy to watch play. I thought he was going to be the next joe montford. Under sized but just soo good and soo much stronger than he looked.

Agree. It'd be cool if they tied the idea from the antler helmets into shoulder pad pin striping or some thing. Even just the EE gloves with antlers would be cool.

I really appreciate the people pushing new, independent media outlets for CFL fans. From your podcast, to darren bauming, to some of the great stuff 3dn and 3 down development are doing. Seems like every time I see 13th man sports and the other facebook one it's always low quality articles. I hope they continue to grow and get better but man some times its almost as bad as TSNs PBP.
