An interesting note is that historically collaros has had his best career games in bounce backs the week after a rough outing. And hasn’t had bad games back to back since like 2016. Months twice prior he had rough outings back to back. But the over whelming majority of his bounce back games are tremendous.

Agree with that. I mean previously the trademark of our offense was Harris beast mode running and great ol play. Since then it’s been collaros insane ability to turn a sack into a big down field completion. the schemes and wrinkles we use don’t scare people. No one’s going oh watch out for that bombers jet sweep they are that great sweep team. But idk if a great oc exists in the cfl or has for a few years.

His leadership also can’t be under valued. The wr core is pretty fresh faced this year. mike sims walker too. Chris brazzel. Who was that we we picked up from Toronto’s pr before the play offs in the khari era who had a great effort in the play off loss then disappeared? We’ve seen lots of flashes in the pan at wr. I’m hopeful for agudosi to be more. And it’s a great situation to be in with that much depth. But no need to fix what isn’t broken. I wouldn’t say we’ve had a very good oc in a very long time tbh. Various shades of mediocre to good ish with the odd all time terrible mixed in.

It was a small sample size but agudosi looked like a fantastic blocker. He’s insanely strong for such a long lean athlete. He also has great upside on sts. That said I don’t think it’s time to make that move. Bailey hasn’t played poor this year he just hasn’t gotten the looks. I would love to keep agudosi on the roster with the other 5 as a di but we wouldn’t use him well.

Very comparable run numbers. I wish the cfl tracked broken tackles and yards after first contact. If Brady continues with what we’ve seen the last few games then we will be sitting very pretty.

Very similar size and build to mahomes. On track for 500-600 yards rushing too. The nfl isn’t as stuck in the Peyton manning mold as they used to be.

One of those guys just not cut out for / not able to adjust to the Canadian game. Honestly I respect any team that tries to bring in a high pedigree us oc and see if they can adapt to the Canadian game. I’d much rather see that than a bunch of lemmings brought up and running the same plop / trestman offense. Though I think the optimal way to do it is get ast coaches up here young and let them coach qbs first or be the oc with a vet assistant type to speed up the process.

He has been very good indeed. He’s shown incredible flashes of collapsing the pocket and blowing up plays solo. Tremendous move by the mafia. 31 going on 73. 160 games played over 10 seasons at just 31. It’s a real testimony to his preparedness and work ethic. I remember at one point he didn’t have a contract going into camp and it seemed like he might be passed by. But quickly was a corner stone mos type guy and never been in doubt since.

Harrison likely. I don’t think he’s seen one snap or any st reps. Mcrae can do a lot of different jobs as a back up atleast. No chance it’s demski. Augustine has been dressing just not getting reps. I would expect that to continue. Grant probably goes back to not starting but maybe gets used rotationally in a sub package.

He was on here around the bc game playin nice and also on the riders forum taking trash about us at the same time. Twice this year too iirc. He got called out on it and hasn’t come back. Some one instatwitterbook commented how the game at bmo sounded like it had a great crowd only to find out they were pumping in artificial crowd noise again.

If only we could average out the amount of points given up per game since we have an unbalanced number of games played… oh wait we can and we have given up the fewest points per game in the league! We’ve given up 18 points per game bc has give up 18.4 and Calgary 21.4!

How many starts? Not looking at combined yards. Also the one game from cf was when he got hurt. Printers was pretty comparable as a year one starter.

what was Casey printers worst game as a first year starter? It’s a tiny sample size with out enough tape on him for defenses to attack him well. Cf wasn’t much worse in his worst start in 19 either.

And we’ve played more games than any other team. Including 2 more games than cal bc and tor have played. We’ve also only played edm once and aren’t a team that often wins by a blow out. A dominant bomber win can be a win by less than 14 points. 2nd most tds scored 2nd fewest given up too. Best plus minus in turn overs too. plus great teams play this year. It’s no smoke and mirrors job.

Agree on rourke. He beats up on bad ds and looks like a new starter against good ds. And he will be nfl bound with out a doubt based on his arm talent and athleticism in the off season. With some polish good coaching and the right team around him he could be great. rick mirer is one of my favourite examples of this. Early in his career people still defender him and expected him to be a top qb in the nfl. But once teams got enough film on him and saw he could only run 4 or 5 plays and make a couple throws he was very easy to defend.

I think he’s talking about running ability and intangibles. It seems like he spent half the interview covering his butt for the initial assertion. cf isn’t a good leader. He doesn’t make good decisions or have the mental toughness to excel.
