He played one more game than schoen at a time when our wr core was struggling much more and with as many or more injuries. when McKnight first came on the roster demski was hurt adams was hurt and lawler was hurt. The difference is what schoen has done with his opportunity. Namely get open and catch every thing. He’s been able to stretch the field and do damage after the catch. I hope he manages to get into a game or two so he can qualify for the pension.

We can’t really asses his hands given what we’ve seen but I have also seen no reason to believe he has the hands or any thing else to make up for his lack of athleticism and size. imo he got more opportunity than agudosi or schoen. I think its because he runs conservatively. Uses his burst smart and plays at a level that he can maintain the whole game. Like milt did. He knew when to turn on the jets and when to go at a pace he could maintain all day. A lot of fast guys struggle with that. They really lean on their speed. Schoen doesn’t need to lean on it because he’s soo polished and smart.
