Jones gonna make his stars all play both ways. I'll never understand how BC and EDM could go to 300k on lawler (who I think very highly of) but not ucambre williams. Bad teams making bad decisions giving out bad contracts. -

Thats a stretch by lalji. Vaj was academically in eligible at the time of transfer and wasn't able to play till after dakota. Had he been eligible earlier, prukop would've been on the bench, vaj was handily ahead of him. Both are small school athletic big sky transfers to oregon. But vaj shined in oregon and prukop was a bust. -

No, but a system could be run with streveler that would be good enough to win imo. It just would require an OC to cater to his skill set. Also, Edm has 3 better qbs on their roster right now. We gotta be able to find some one who is atleast able to develop into a blue chip prospect. -

He's a poor mans fajardo. Extremely athletic and physically tough. Much more of a natural scrambler, doenst rely on the one move he can make more happen with his legs. Has a strong enough arm to throw down field, but not a special arm by any means. Doesnt have particularly good zip, touch, or release. He's an awful lot better than dru brown, and in the same skill set / limitation. I hope we get a better no2 (which I doubt) or a much better developmental prospect for camp. But if not, I'd say he's better than mcguire showed last year. But Mcguire had a lot more arm talent. Fun fact, he was team mates with charles nelson in oregon. -

Yeah just strikes me as odd that ott went with powell and not harris. Tor is just desperate. I do like the jagared davis pick up but not much else. My way too early draft grades would be, OTT A+. They did as best as they could. Wpg A. Resigned the key FAs, enough to be favorites again. Stamps B+. Really like the judge pick up, Had some loses but were a young team moving forward. Mtl B. Really limited their loses, locked up young guys, and only team to go out and get cheap vet qb depth. Other wise secondary and mennard hits are hard. BC C-. Not crazy about their qbing, but finally filled some dl gaps and kept lucky. got a little spend crazy in the secondary. Ham C-. They seemed as flat in the FA period as they did in the 19 grey cup. Seems like they just lost guys and didnt add. Ssk C-. Addition by subtraction with a couple loses. Duke was a big over pay but they had to, moncrief was a good get. Maybe they should be higher. Tor D+, Swung for the fences a lot, but only got 1 gooder in davis. They have 2 really good imp rbs and couldnt manage to run well or consistently and they dont have the NI back up to start him. Banks is toast. Edm wtF- Sigh, return of duron carter and jones as a hc/gm. Wouldve won free agency in 2012. -

Thats true, and they got the best OL on the market once FA started. I think they've done the best job of any team in FA. But its gonna take a lot to dig out of that hole. Just as important as the FA grade will be the draft. If they can hit a guy who has an impact right away. The bombers success has been built on drafting, and developing. It's been off set with some tremendous off season pick ups, but the core of the team is guys who came into the league with the bombers. Any one else find it interesting that TO opened up the check book for harris, but ott, despite plops success with harris for soo long didnt? -

It sounds positive in the light of their production last year, but that was plops team. His playbook and his players. And Masoli is a poor mans kevin glenn. He's never been able to maintain his job on a contender. They will be better than last year, no question. They couldn't have added much more in free agency either. They are gonna go from a terrible team that lost by a lot every week, to a fringe team that loses by a little almost every week. Mid to late next year is the soonest they will turn the page and be a solid team imo. They went from being a team that was a year away from being a year away, to a team thats a year away from being good. I look at their roster and I see 0 NIs that would start on our team. A couple would be rotational pieces like boateng, but none would be close to starting here. I see a starting DL that combined for about 11 sacks last year. I still see an OL with less games than bryant + any other bomber ol, and that combine for less starts than 3 of our ol individually. And I still see a check down offense with out an elite rb to carry it. They won't win games on the line of scrimmage, they wont create enough pressure to win games on D, they wont stretch the field to make up with fast scoring, and they wont dominate with the run game. After one of the worst all time seasons, any thing different sounds like its a positive. -

Ready to play as players is one thing. Ready to perform as a cohesive unit is a whole other thing. That OL especially is gonna struggle early. -

100%. They are probably going to have 4 new starting OL, a new qb, 3 wrs half the DL and secondary. Early is the time to play them. And yes, its still a plop lead masoli team. we know how to beat that and excel at it. -

Championship teams and dynasty teams very seldom win free agency. The only position I have concerns about right now is kicker. -

Ever since the end of the 19 gc the cfl media was pushing that the cats under achieved and that 21 was their year. Lots of pundits picked us for 2nd or 3rd in the west and virtually none had any one above hammy. Snafu -

Nelson was signed a week maybe 2 ago. Never been soo happy to have some one poached from our team. The rbs get bj Cunningham too. They've made some really good moves. -

One of the most impressive picks I've seen. And from a mlb it's truly some thing special. -

We are perfectly fine. You'll never see a team in a better position to replace a hof starting ni rb and stay ni at the position. Young guys aren't consistent. And our offense in general suffered poor play calling injuries and drops in those early Brady starts. If buck can figure out how to use the backs to play off each other our running game in 2022 will be better than 2021. As much credit as collaros gets for leading our wrs to success and he does our ol deserves credit for the run success. Basically any pro imp rb would run for more than 1000 with out breaking a sweat behind our ol. -

Coming from the softest big RB the league has ever seen. Lber in the CFL isnt about the size of the dog in the fight, its about the size of the fight in the dog. And Junior, is a chihuahua. The dude had 2 rushing touch downs last year. And averaged like 50 yards and 4ypc against us. Mcguire had 8 rushing tds last year, Junior has 11 in his entire career. Junior needs to settle tf down. -

The cfl media are gonna be licking their lips writing the obituary for us this off season. Harris shouldnt have left that way, lost too many players, no replacement for lawler, other teams really stocked up. But they are all going to be dancing around the fact that our Defense is intact. Its heading into 2022 better than it did into 2021. They questioned if biggie could still get it done, they doubted the secondary, and our WIL. The secondary will be better despite departures by having maston back and having a year of experience together. Not to mention the possibility of a full healthy year of kyrie at wil. He really kicked it into another gear in the play offs. And on offense last year it went from harris' team and a run team, to the leading pass attack and collaros' unit. With that OL blocking, and collaros throwing the ball our top wr will be one of the leagues leaders no matter who it is. -

BA is a great pick. Airguitarski, and demski are too. Demski is the ni face of the team now. I also never see nearly enough OL jerseys getting worn. Get that hardrick, or bryant. -

Yeah I don't see him producing like Bailey little on Lawler but you can never under estimate a guy like that. But I'd rather give that spot to a guy with more upside. Ba was neck and neck in my books with biggie for modp. Ba let's biggie do a lot more. He also makes over the middle a no fly zone. Collaros was the biggest resign of the season. Then the ol. Then ba biggie willy Jeffcoat.
