  1. https://3downnation.com/2022/05/09/cfl-teams-commit-to-house-feed-players-until-conclusion-of-strike-or-end-of-training-camp/ A decent step by the league. Didn't have another choice though.
  2. If that was the issue sub packages for wrs 3rs down backs etc down south wouldn't be as effective as they are. Or part time te h back stuff
  3. If it hasn't yet it will and soon. I'd take foster here. We are going ni but he can catch run and would be great as a di. Bc ham ott ssk should all go after him.
  4. The guys picked in the top 20 not getting nfl deals are drastically better than the rare top talents of 10 years ago. It'd be nice to have exclusive access to Canadians but that would cripple the stream of talent. This balancing act is the cfl talent pipe line in a nutshell. I'd love a new creative ratio that kept nis playing and starting but didn't hamstring teams more than need be but idk what that looks like.
  5. https://3downnation.com/2022/05/06/effectiveness-of-cfl-rule-changes-rests-with-leagues-conservative-coaches/ Credit where it is due, one of the best 3dn articles in a while. CFL coaching is stagnant and passive. Young fans want to see exciting creative play call and designs.
  6. Oh man I want that in the cfl. That seems to be a lot of people's sentiment. The usfl crowds in the hub for away teams makes the argos crowd look like bama
  7. The cfl needs To hear negative feed back from fans on this like the 4 down talk.
  8. He was a fa more than half of last season. He isn't interested.
  9. The hashmark move should make mourtada perform drastically better. If he improves a bit too I don't think we need lirim.
  10. That whole needed to be the bad cop thing reminds me of mos in the first half or so of his time here. Pro football, especially in the CFL is not coached like it used to be. Guys don't respond to the bear bryant treatment. Coaching is leadership, and leadership isn't barking at guys. Idk who they think they could get during the season that would come in and do a better job. That's kharis team. I have no doubt that those guys are his guys.
  11. If every one is healthy, and gray is killing it, they could rotate neufeld and gray and keep both on the AR. You don't see that often, but I'm a big fan of it. Especially if you have great chemistry between all the OL. We have pioneered/championed the DL rotation in the cfl. And reaped great rewards from keeping guys fresh and letting them go harder in fewer reps, but still stick to the every rep every down, same guys on the OL.
  12. Best guard in the league, 24, and an NI. If gray (as it stands) is playing great you bring him back and perhaps reduce the load on neufeld who is 9 years older. The combination of experience and age couture and desjarlais have is the stuff of unicorn farts. You hold onto that at any price imo. Gray also has the skill set to be a starting RT in the cfl.
  13. Can't be true. That would require MR. TC MODP, 4 time TC line backer Tony Ortiz! 2nd best though for sure. If all 3 aren't in blue and gold this year, it's still the best OL going into TC. Unless BA recovers in record time, S will be an NI starter breaking camp.
  14. I think he's atleast going to be on an nfl pr for a year.
  15. https://3downnation.com/2022/05/05/ranking-every-teams-2022-cfl-draft-class/ Don't agree much with this assessment. I get why he put us at the bottom, though I dont agree. I think this was an excellent draft crop for what was available, what picks we had and worked very well with what we needed. Tors rank is the worst on the list imo. They killed it.
  16. This TC roster looks more like the dickenson stamps dynasty then any thing the league has seen since then. The volume of blue chip prospects fighting each other for a chance at a job is un real. Not only does this roster have no holes, it has pick of the litter for who to develop as the next man up. Usually you know certain blue chip guys are going to stick around in one way shape or form. This year, a couple of good players with great upside are going to be let go. Ellingson, Saunders, Bailey, Demski, Woli for a starting wr core going into camp. No weak links in the chain and if any one isn't 100% they got the group of Agudosi, B.jackson, Mcknight, Simmons, Whopp, Schoen and more at their heels. Normally we'd be very happy to have 1 or 2 guys like Simons, and whopp or returning guys like Jackson and Agudosi. The depth is nuts.
  17. Yeah, walters talked about it in his presser too. At this point I'm sure the bombers would be comfortable starting an NI dt, wil, or db as needed. If Eli isnt back, but dobson signs then he's good enough to be our 6th OL. Then it'd be our plan C to start 3 imps. If dobson signs and Eli is brought back then our OL is as deep as last year. Having Koczwara back is nice for the depth too. Adamson is a beast 1 on on 1 too, if they turn him around and he takes to the OL well he could move up quickly. I could see him taking a roster spot based on the ability to play both ways if he does well in OL reps too.
  18. It really is. We have frequently had DL and DB depth like this under the mafia. This is the first time we've had more blue chip wr prospects than you can shake a stick at. I cant wait to see the TC depth chart at wr. Its going to be silly. 3rd team dbs are gonna be having a fit.
  19. https://3downnation.com/2022/05/04/bombers-sign-eastern-kentucky-university-receiver-keyion-dixon/ https://www.nfl.com/prospects/keyion-dixon/32004449-5844-9091-a33f-fd9383b3c6d5 6'3 skinny guy, looks very explosive. Rare to find a guy with that kind of quickness, and a top gear to break away from defenders. Not to mention in that tall frame. He needs some polishing but what a prospect. Are we approaching having signed too many WRs again? 🤣 This is the deepest wr core going into a camp that we've had in a long, long time.
  20. This is a very interesting point. I dont think Either will be playing cb much here this year. But itll be interesting to see. I think we will see the 2 starting hbs, 2 starting cbs and sam all be imports. But while BA is hurt we likely will see the Nucks rotate at S. Last year we flashed 2 deep looks subbing the wil for a 2nd S. That makes it harder to pick up the coverage when playing 3 high. I think we will also see the 6th db / dime be an NI. As it sits the defense will have tremendous flexibility in rotating in a Canadian at any of the 3 levels. We've been slowly bleeding NI depth over the past few years so this young blood on the D could be huge.
  21. https://www.bluebombers.com/2022/05/04/2022-draft-recap/ Some great details on rene, dobson and the draft crop.
