  1. No doubt. Especially with that rb build, he could be excellent in short yardage. I must’ve just been thinking of the first couple of regular season games that were kind of pre season quality then. the lber core sure doesn’t look good in this game. Hope Barrett looks incredible. Really look forward to seeing what the imp rbs do namely Barnes and Mccrae this system and ol will really give them a chance to shine.
  2. Mm I might’ve been thinking about the previous season then. Or just confused. Like always it’ll be up to what he thinks he needs. And honesty he will probably doesn’t need any reps. i do look forward to seeing brown continue to grow. Sounds like pigrome has had a good camp too.
  3. It’ll all depend on if the starting ol goes. But last year iirc he played in both games. I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes some reps in this game. So long as the starting ol is travelling.
  4. I strongly suggest taking advantage of what ever park and ride will be closest to your in road. Get on one of the first buses, enjoy the tail gate, and get your main food early. The best bet for food mid game is one of the general kiosks or area specific stands. Bomber store is a hot mess all day, I suggest ordering stuff on line and skipping it in person. Also if you can make it work get down to fan appreciation day. It’s well worth it. Autograph lines are long but it’s great. lots of great places to eat out side of stadium in each area of town. If you are gonna come in early and eat a bunch of guys on here can give good advice on where to eat.
  5. Ahh that makes sense thanks for pointing that out. Think he’s taking time before his next step.
  6. No, but I think he’s clearly a project. A guy that would be fighting for a pr spot to see if he can develop this year or next.
  7. I think pre season will be the make or break for guys like him and pigrome. but he and any other wr is gonna need to be extraordinary in order to crack our pr. As it is I think they will try hard to get the projected starters plus grant plus agudosi all on the roster.
  8. I’m sure mo was really bitter. I would be in his spot. He and randle just had rotten luck and couldn’t keep it together long enough. But those two guys started the defensive and winning turn around. They paid a whole lot of sweat equity. Iirc mo was hurt came back late wasn’t the same and wasn’t in the next years camp.
  9. 100%. Similar as well to that wr we had in the last two camps who was a concerted qb. I can think of another guy as well, one that loved the wildcat formation lol. for me if you could have a kr di type who could throw a decent ball to a wide open target, hold, and do the short yardage that’d be pretty perfect for a situational gadget guy. They just have to be 100% on taking the snap and holding.
  10. bombers cut Tavaris Harrison and signed wr amare jones. Bit surprised Harrison is gone with out at least another pre season game after sticking all last year. Jones is a former dual threat qb all purpose offensive gimmick/kr guy. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/amare-jones/32004a4f-4e03-0344-d021-e5b3f4af43a1 https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Amare-Jones-RB-Tulane
  11. He was as much a solid all round defensive end as he is a pass rusher.
  12. I get that, but all the same I wouldn’t. Jeffcoat when healthy is modp quality. Ands he’s especially clutch in the play offs. Pass rushers have a longer career than other positions too. His best football could still be ahead of him. SMS isn’t in effect till the first week. But in effect they probably weren’t willing to cut guys that make up this kind of money.
  13. Jeffcoat isn’t likely to play a full season at any point, our d needs that de rotation. the question is would he be worth cutting Castillo. this is the cost of greatness. You lose guys to the nfl and to free agency. It hurts that other than rose the guys who’ve gone down haven’t come back, but the lifeblood of a dynasty isn’t getting those guys back. The lifeblood is next man up. We’ve gotta fill those gaps internally, same as yesterday.
  14. Reeeaalllyyy sucks. Wonder if we were in on him and what his $ was.
  15. Chris jones might give us their first rounder next use for him
  16. That’s awesome thanks! that’s gonna be a big deal in terms of him getting back to where he was quickly. Any word on dobsons shape? He dropped a bunch of weight going into last year but seemed to still be slowed some.
  17. Thanks for that. Hopefully some guys are just easing in and being preventative with injury. How has Bennett looked? Any of the back up pass rushers looking good? How has Eli looked shape wise? Is he getting full second team reps or sitting more?
  18. It’s standard sports reporting or basic investigative journalism. Don’t know find people who do ask questions don’t get answers seek new people to ask. we used to get it in the freep every day. It’s not some thing new or unheard of. It’s what you would expect in any pro sports teams coverage.
  19. Thought the same thing about rb when we brought in another imp today with out cutting one and because normally the imp rbs just do their thing in camp. We don’t normally move through them this much. I don’t think Brady has practiced at al yet, with Augustine back it makes me think it’s Brady which would be awful. I have trouble seeing us flip the ratio at rb easily. Unless biggie is gonna be out too and we are going ni at Mac. Which is a concern as well. this is in part the nature of training camp when your core players are all over 30.
  20. Since the classic spread offense teams have become nfl hot beds teams have to try and find un tapped sources of talent. It seems like we are looking at the physical outliers from low levels of competition. Hoping to be able to refine them into pro players. When it’s between guys who barely played in college and guys who played at the lowest levels of us college it’s kind of a toss up.
  21. Every D he played came with their best game when they played him. I don’t buy the 5k a year claim.
  22. Imo it does. When guys get that slowing down of the game they generally take a big step forward. It’s when they rush that they get in trouble
  23. Lawrence had 1 k in a season and Ricky had 500 and change in half a season. Lawrence also played on an extremely good team while the argos weren’t.
