JY took a defensive unit with no ability to get pressure from the DL, or gap cancel, and gave up the fewest opposition points and tds in the league. Not to mention we ran away with the league lead on offensive give aways, leaving our D in a terrible field position field. They also played the most minutes as our off was among the worst in 2nouts. We also gave up the fewest first downs. 2nd lowest passing yards against, lowest completion percentage against. 2nd best in terms of opposition QBR. We had the lowest of TDs per drive given up on D in the league by a large margin. Worst front 6 in the league by a mile, and he gave us one of the best defenses in the league. Not only that, he did the same thing last year. Both years, he had to wholly rebuild our secondary mid season. If we had a decent DL, and didn't use all our DIs on special teams, his D the last two years would've been 21 levels of dominant maybe even more so.

BO basically said he is in it to win it...and with that he wants to be in a place where the cast around him is a supporting cast...players and coaches to get it done....so effectively him being our marquee player without saying it as such "show me you ready to get real and do this right" or I'm taking my ball and going where someone else is Shot across the bow so to say and rightfully so, and good on him...Someone had to say it...

I have this feeling that he and his agents see him as a major star pro athlete and would like to see him in a bigger spotlight... A major market. They want to try and market him like Connor McDavid, Austin Mathews, Kawhi Leonard, etc....

does need tweaking...and influx of talent But 3 man rush with some dirty dawgs is effective...especially with a Jack who is on search and destroy And DB's who dont get lost on a crowd of 9th graders

Yeah...Jones and JJ duo would be great in an innovative system and we would likely become a QB developing system.... I forgot about Hall....and really what a HC really needs to do, and take on...with the right co-ords it be easy for him....smarts....seen it all...relates to players...very non-disruptive

To tell you the truth I wouldn’t mind a new OC and DC next year, Hogan gone is a no brainer but I didn’t like the schemes Younger was running

I like Khari, and I think he was ahead of the curve on the offences he wanted to run. I view him the same way I look at Jackson. I'd want them to have either a sidekick with a ton of upside to groom or someone with tremendous experience who can help groom them. No CO by committee, but more like Hall and JY. , If we go from inside, I think it'll be Hall who gets the nod, if not maybe walters comes down and does both jobs. Or, it might be time for the regularly scheduled return of Lapo LOL

If he tries that....I'd promote JY immediately and give him full control of the defence...and it would be glorious

Id personally approach Khari...he got done raw at the end of his last gig He's not a tool...is connected...a players coach but one who plays the talent...name recognition... JJ stays as OC but has a lot of input from Jones but allows Jones to focus on the game and whats going on Players who have played for him love and rave about him as well...Elevate Younger to DC/Ass head coach with more say/sway with whom we go after player wise. And there are players in the league who still make a difference that would come to wpg cause hes here... Simple...effective.. seamless

I can see O’Shea going back home, can also see ZC wanting to back out east, but Brady I don’t see it

I could 100% see Osh going home and taking both Zach and Brady with him... Tho Zach is under contract so it'd have to be some kinda trade.

I imagine Walters will be gone soon. And I want to see O'Shea gone too. He's arrogant and stubborn. Terrible in-game management. Who would replace him? No idea ... hopefully not Jarious Jackson who sucks as HC. Why not take a shot at replacing Hogan with Collaros? It seems clear that he and Hogan did not get along. Who is more to blame for the sputtering 3 step drop no rollout offence? Take your pick. But it would be a mistake to let Collaros on the field as the starter again. So let's have competition at QB - develop the prospects - Wilson, Artopoeus and maybe Taylor Elgersma behind an off-season CFL journeyman like Taylor Powell who looks like a free agent in Hammy? If Oliveira wants to leave for the money, fine. I bet he stays. Especially if Bombers spend like hell this off-season on better FA vets, and younger prospects on both the O-line and D-line. Bombers looked especially weak in pass pro and discomboblulated run blocking. And we had no pressure on opposing QBs - all season long and going back to 2024. Success starts and ends in the trenches.

Yeah, I mean, Etch had some pretty good years. I think his combination of age/health left him in a poor position to try and rebuild a team and get that crazy D of his working. Pretty disconnected from league trends too. Ugh, Hogan was the biggest reach. Maciocia had a similar leap, but he did much more time in the pros before going up to OC. I respect the balls of that guy and how he got into pro football with the als as well.

This makes the QB situation in the east even more interesting. Dinwiddie was tight with Arbuckle. I can't imagine he will want to bring him or the pest to Ott when they have brown. (Boy brown and Dinwiddie could be a deadly combo) And Idk if Arbuckle wants to go back to ott lol. The replacement in Toronto might choose the pest over Arbuckle. That is, of course, if Mos doesn't go and take Zach back to the market nearest his home LOL
