Not sure actually but tonight they said he's expected to debut vs Pitt 

Dano can play either wing, maybe starts on third line

Probably our best possible roster. 

Dano should play with skilled guys 

Swap Dano and Stafford. Jets will probably easy him in into the line up and he prefers to play his off wing 

Stafford is not good. He should not be in our top 6 ever again 

I can't see Maurice breaking up Armia's line after tonight's game....Scheif's either for that matter but what do I know?

Staf should be traded for as high a pick as we can get.

Are we going to pay him 4.35m for playing the third line next year?

He's got Armia, Ehlers, Wheeler, Connor, Perreault and Dano ahead of him if you ask me.

Pretty sure left is his off wing.

Dano Lowry Armia could be a nice line - two bigs guys and a smaller playmaker

Would be great to see Stafford moved... maybe Florida wants him, lower price

I agree about stafford. If the jets were keeping ladd and trying to get in the playoffs next season Id say keep him and his goals. But if this is a youth movement then no reason to keep him. But tough to trade him with a year left 

Dano is a RWer.

Sounds like he's good with any forward position, maybe another Perrault?

Maurice said he will be watching a ton of film on him to help him see where to put him in the lineup. He won't start higher than 3rd line if you ask me.

Wheeler, Armia ahead of him and where was Staf playing last night? RW? The more you look at it, the youngsters are squeezing Stafford out.

Only if you think Staff has played well lately.

Really thinking he slots in on second line, might as well see what he's got...  he has NHL experience and is a better option than Thorburn

Stafford has no future with this team and the Jets aren't making the playoffs. Let's bury Dano on the 4th and play Staf to drag down Perreault. Wait, let's trade Staf and let Dano have some more meaningful minutes and develop on the Jets and get what we can for staf...I think we could get a good prospect or a 1st rounder for Stafford.

 

 

DLA sounds good to me but I'd rather see DPA.

You'd play him higher in the lineup than Armia cuz nobody is moving Wheeler from RW.

I am in the camp of seeing what Dano can actually do before I trade away one of the few remaining vets left on the team. Now if you were thinking of trading Enstrom...please proceed.

I would trade Staf whether we picked up Dano or not. Wheeler and Armia should be ahead of him and we shouldn't be paying a 3rd liner like Staf 4.35m per year.

I can't believe how guys get stuck on LH and RH positions...

So we can't play Trouba on the left side because he's RH shot but we can't play Dano on the left side because he's LH shot...

Once again... Hossa did not switch to LW when Dano was put on his line.  Dano plays wing - right or left.

And trade Stafford and Enstrom - problem solved.

Our LHD problem.

It wouldn't surprise me if Chevy extends Enstrom for a couple of years at about 3m after his deal expires...

Dano is more comfortable playing RW so you'd want him to be as comfortable as possible wouldn't you? He's at his best on the right side. 

Enstrom won't be around for another year, never mind more after his current deal expires. He's going to be traded. If he is on this team next year, I'd be surprised. 

 

Heres the deal, Why keep stafford around? he's not part of the future, when he's not scoring, he's doing nothing, he brings his entire line down.

You look at the Jets LW and RW depth now... where does stafford fit? Like it or not, the Jets are going with the youth, but they do have some vets in there, they gave this veteran group of players 5 almost 6 years to see what they can do and what they got was eliminated in 4 playoff games then regressed huge time this season. Not all of that is on the veterans obviously since Buff and Wheeler are having a great year individually. 

You can pretty much pencil Connor in next year

 

LW Ehlers, Connor,Perreault <-- no particular order

RW Wheeler,Armia,Dano <-- no particular order again

 

Where does Stafford fit? He doesn't. If somebody has interest in him, get what you can for him and move on.
