Believe he was signed when there was no helle or comrie or Phillips. He's probably gonna be a career ECHL goalie. Doubt he gets an AHL action unless Helle is called up. Even then he'd probably sit on the bench

Doubt it. The moose are what they are. Petan is irrelevant to the 8 or 9 game thing. He's a pro now. He can't be sent to junior and he burns a year of his ELC regardless.

I'd rather Petan play with the Jets and only get 7 8 minutes a night than play on the dumpster fire that is the Moose... He wouldn't help them, the Moose are not lacking forward talent, they are lacking the D talent to get them the puck, outside of Morrissey (rookie),Kostalek (rookie) and Harrison (yeah Jay Harrison) they have nothing and they lack the veteran presence at forward also... BIG TIME. mistake not signing Jaffray as he brings a very calming veteran presence.. Moose lack the Vets and the ones they do have.. Hali,Fraser, those types of guys have apparently been awful.

 

Perhaps the coach is part of the issue as well, they are supposed to be the Jets developmental team but... they don't play anything like the Jets. That's a problem. 

Might be a bit of a hangover for some of the vets because those guys are decent players when they have been called upon in the NHL.

Developing youth is more important than winning but wonder if zinger will let them suck all season without either bringing in some non Jets help or getting Chevy to swing some prospects or AHL level talent trades.

None of our d can be sent down without waivers correct? So Pardy, Postma, chiarot, all of whom would help the Moose can't go....
