Here's a perfect example of an athlete that brings productivity to the ice as well as brings strong interpersonal skills to help with team cohesion and leadership..

And he's not the best player on the team but he's probably one of the best on the team that brings the full package. The expectation (not always met) for all players is have the full package to some degree not just one or the other.

And as I just told someone, he shows up in the playoffs!

I guess he didn’t like going back to the Moose again.  To be fair, he just hasn’t shown enough to warrant a regular spot in the lineup.  He hasn’t had a lot of quality minutes with the Jets, but he also hasn’t earned them…. He did very little with the Moose last year, which was disappointing.

TBF the Moose did very little last year as a whole

Lambert will likely be surpassed by Yaegar next year.  Ford and Chipper are better than he is right now in his career.  I hope he stays in the system, but I understand that he probably wants a better opportunity elsewhere.  There's also  Barlow

Lambert is all speed and nothing else. Bag of pucks in return. The problem with lambert is he has zero value. He was terrible last year, terrible. And this year has 1 goal in 4 games. There is no value there.

maybe you package him and ville but likely doesn’t get much in return. Maybe there’s a d man who has almost busted and needs a change of scenery. Cuz honestly lambert hasn’t even shown he’s an nhl player. Jets picked him at 30. 29 teams passed on him roughly, I can understand why now.
