Ehlers was a top 10 draft pick.   Anything is possible, but if he showed the same talent as Ehlers, size wouldn't have mattered.

Lambert has potential to be an Ehlers type but honestly. Hopefully he’s a bit bigger. Nik is small. But nik was also 2 good for the ahl. So yeah… there is no next Ehlers. Perfetti is the set up guy. He needs to be feeding a goal scorer, ahem boeser.

I'll miss Tanev, it was nice to have him back

Boeser staying in Vancouver.  I’d imagine all of Ehlers Appleton and Tanev are gone. 2 they prob decided they didn’t want back and 1 gonna take lots of time deciding. They have 22.4 million in cap. Rfas samberg Vilardi and Barron. They prob have about 8 million to 10 to spend today. Samberg prob 6 million. Vilardi likely similar and Barron will get a modest raise. 8 to 10 on UFAs but really outside of boeser and Ehlers, it’s crap.

How ever will they replace Tanev and his 0 goals 0 assists and 0’points in 13 playoff games. Oh he has a stat. 18 penalty minutes in the playoffs.

These are good value signings. Similar to what Florida has done. 

If Ehlers signs back, hmm. But I’m thinking we may have to go trade route here 

something tells me if he does sign it won't be for a long run, I'm getting flashbacks to before Trouba left

Trouba was traded. Ehlers is no longer under jets contract. 

Pearson…Koepke…couple more lefties. Where’s the  Barron love?

Jets signed a couple depth pieces for pretty much league minimum. Can’t complain. These are the deals you look for on July 1. There is the possibility still Ehlers signs back. 

 

 

Those 5 are all ahl signings. Fagemo is interesting tho. 2019 draft round 2. Has some skills. Former kings do well here.
