Wow. That’s a huge hit for us. What was this illness that hit a lot of players and refs?

At least he won’t risk injury. There’s that at least.

Apparently bad flu tearing through... Morrissey woke up feeling like **** after his nap this afternoon.

It’s Covid. Makar had it also.

McJesus best player in the world but by his standards sure seems to be battling with the puck today.

Canada wins.

Helle sad, KFC sad 😭

It’s okay Helle KC let’s get the Cup now.

Josh Morrissey and Connor Hellebuyck will miss the Winnipeg Jets' first game back after the 4 Nations Face-Off break, head coach Scott Arniel revealed Friday.

KC joining the group in St Louis. Should be playing.

I hope it's just a random flu bug

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'Mike Mclntyre @mikemcintyrewpg 1h x... #NHLJets coach Scott Arniel says illness really swept through players at the 4 Nations. Mentions Connor Hellebuyck got hit by it earlier this week. Says losh Morrissey was devastated not being able to play last night, spent much of Thursday throwing up.'

I wonder if we should expect another signing or a trade just before March 7th (I just hope my internet doesn't give me grief on the 7th)

The Ehlers situation is going to be very interesting in how it all plays out over the next couple of weeks or so.

My assumption is there's no way Chevy lets NE walk at the end of the 2024/2025 campaign without getting anything for him in return?

What are our chances in re-signing him with probably a considerable bump in his pay? What would the length of the contract be?

Or do we trade him for some D help, O help, both or blue chip prospects, i.e., 1st rounders?

Or we keep in for this upcoming post season, he helps us win the cup (that's the ultimate return) and walks off into the sunset to another team? But that wouldn't be an option? Or would it?

So many questions.

Problem is you trading Ehlers to a contender unless it’s some blockbuster type deal. He is a pending ufa so I don’t think you would get much. A 1st in a weak draft and a meh prospect. Is Ehlers worth more to us? Probably cuz looks like he’s enjoying himself out there. I think he signs. I think there’s a chance pionk is dealt or walks for nothing tho.

Right after his winning goal and thru the whole tournament:

Go Canada Go. Thank you your Majesty.

After the Four Nations festivities ended:

Oilers suck.

🙂

Jets Oilers western final would be good tho.

Even if they ask Nik will he consider signing here in the off-season it could be a Johnny Gaudreau yes.

Johnny told Calgary he'd talk contract after season. Never did.

Letting Nik walk to Free Agency will be a massive mistake for a draft a develop team like the Jets. If the Jets (Chevy) knows he will not re sign then he should of traded him by now but with the way the team is playing that might of been taken out of his hands.

To me Ehlers is Worth someone equal or better value
