Kyle Connor on the PK. WTH. The guy is our worst defensive forward. Dunno whats sillier.. Connor on the PK or stone hands Lowry and Copp on the PP. 

The Schiefele line is a mess without the puck.  Schiefele chasing a guy around the zone, Laine doesn't come below the top of the circle and Carolina keeps getting chances right in front of the Jets net.

I'm not a huge fan of Connor and Laine playing on the same line.  They are both prone to pretty horrific decisions at their own blueline and bad decisions when the Jets don't have the puck.  I'd probably swap Ehlers and Connor.

Connor doesn't even try in the d zone. Is our first shot of the 2nd a good goal? Or high stick.. Looks below the crossbar to me

3rd Canes goal comes about 4 seconds after Staal trips Lowry as he's headed up the wall with the puck.  Too bad the NHL doesn't allow challenges for blatant missed penalty calls like that which lead to goals.

Lowry tripped on our own guy who was tripped by Staal. Jets being exposed tonight by the faster better overall team. Records are same, carolinas effort level is much higher

Jets are skating in quicksand they cannot match speed of the Canes.  

Carolina has 1 star player. 2 now with Svech and a bunch of guys playing roles. We have about 5 6 stars. Just lack effort

That's the big difference.  Carolina has 5 guys who can move the puck consistently.  The Jets have 2.

Carolina overall is better. They aren't relying on their goalie standing on his head to win. 

I was out walking this afternoon thinking its gonna be a bad night, maybe 8-4.

Bout time the weaknesses were exposed.

Hamilton leading offensive D man in league I think. 35 pts now?

Disagree on the trip, but completely agree with the rest.

Honestly the Jets we're lucky the last three to four games.  They got away with being sloppy.  Frosty said it already...tonight they were exposed..  plain and simple

Carolina really exposing the Jets in the neutral and d zones tonight. Jets looking very much llike their advanced stats say they are... Not good. 

Said it a while ago.. Relying on your goalie standing on his head every game is not sustainable.

Carolina will be in the playoffs guaranteed. Jets? Not convinced.

Carolina is just a much, much better team. Way more talent overall. I've been saying for most of this season, the Jets are over-achieving on the backs of Hellebuyck and Maurice...
