There are awful human beings out there...

Greg Zaun just let go from Sportsnet.  Seems like an avalanche of celeb men going down.  Who's next?  Should we start a pool?

Thats too bad about the Statute of Limitations with Baio.  Eggert's story is believable.  Hopefully she can get some closure now.

I thought the Sly Stallone one was already debunked as of a month or so ago?

I thought it stopped after his ex-wife had an alibi for him

Yowza  That's a big fish.  If there is any truth to it, he's done.  The allegations are coming from a story written by Ronan Farrow so they have to be taken very seriously.  But its important to note he's currently involved in a major feud with Shari Redstone over plans to merge CBS & Viacom which is a massive deal.  Crazy stuff happens when people fight over that kind of money and power.

oooo that could put a kink in those plans, and they say Disney is a monopoly look at how much Viacom owns! Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, BET, Paramount, etc.

As big if not bigger then Weinstein I'd say!

Less is married to Julie Chen right?

Correct.  The allegations are from 20 years ago, reportedly.  The thing is, I could believe that Les did that 20 years ago (unwanted touching, kissing etc) and I could believe that he's been a perfect professional in the years since.  But what people are seeing is, the old boys club culture is being replaced, thankfully, but a lot of those old boys are still there and now paying a price.

Well Les is against the merger.  So my thought is, if he's ousted, it could actually make the merger easier to happen.

oh....well then this could get messy either way (especially since he's also married to Julie Chen who hosts Big Brother)

It will be high profile for sure.  Especially coming from Farrow.  But it sounds like the allegations pre-date his marriage so Im sure the strategy will either be to deny it or to say look, I committed bad behavior 20 years ago but since then, I've been a model husband and executive.

and before his tenure as CEO, should it matter if this happened during his time as CEO, because I'm kind of having some kind of debate about should someone lose their job because of something they did 20 years ago?

Well that's the debate right?  I think if he had one allegation from 20 years ago, he'd probably survive it.  But if someone is in a position of power and uses that power to harass women, then its definitely going to come back to bite him.

Ive only worked at my company for ten years but I have a feeling if someone came forward today to say I harassed then ten years ago, Im in big trouble...

It's really tough to make things everything so black and white.    But if I had the all mighty power then I'd hold this against the guy since these kinds of things are based of one's character so even though it's 20 years ago it is indicative of what kind of person he is deep inside.

Twenty years ago... And I've heard about former girlfriends coming forward accusing 60 year old men of sexual assault from 40 years ago...  That's crazy.
