Story : Evil Habs and their fans to invade arena. Thankfully they suck this year.

Maurice Watch : 6 more losses and Paul sets the NHL record for most losses by a coach. I'll give Paul a break and mention he's 6th in all time wins.

I used to love it in the old days when the Canadiens would come to Winnipeg and everyone in the stands would dress up and wear suits/tuxedos, and for some reason even if the Jets were sucking they would beat the Canadiens at home.  Good times.

It seemed like Montreal was starting to play better but they took a big loss tonight, 6-3 to Minny.  Jets gotta keep it rolling.

Start Mason?

whoa even I'm not sure Maurice is THAT confident considering that MTL has been sucking like crazy as of late

I was just saying the same thing, that it might be the right time to get Mason in.  You have to start him here soon.

yeah might be time though he should start putting sun tan lotion on his neck...

Mason played well last game vs CBJ.. Helle is the Central Division killer.. Montreal in the East and struggling... Jets should win easily... Regardless of who is in net. Start Mason. Helle monday in Dallas and then a choice to make vs Vegas. Tough call there.

Mason has to see the ice eventually. At home against an opponent in disarray seems like a good time to activate him. As long as the Jets keep playing the way they have been recently, anyway.

Interesting. I think mason is god awful and even I would have put mason in today.

Godawful is a pretty unreasonable descriptor for him. He played quite well in last start in Columbus.

Yeah he played great that game. The only problem is the 3 others where he posted a sub . 800 sv%. Can he improve? Of course.

But unfortunately he hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt. He's on an extremely short leash now and rightfully so
