Well, could be about a 3-hour break in between games here.

Well ... who do I want to pick for this first game?  I think if Ottawa gets to Jennings early in this one as the recipe has been for most teams, things could start rolling downhill quick in TD Place.  If BC starts quick and JJ has the kind of game he says he wants, BC rolls.

 

And for the later game, it was just a few weeks ago that the Stamps knocked Ricky Ray out.  I don't think this is going to be a blowout game like last time, but the Argos are going to have to protect him better to have a shot at winning against Devone Claybrooks's stingy defense.  I suspect with BLM's shoulder issues, Calgary's going to be looking to use Messam and Finch a lot in this one.

Also on that note, the Redblacks had better hope these pickers don't jinx em like they did the Eskos last night

Jennings is just so bad. Picked in the end zone. 

So, last year's semi final in BC, Loffler gets called for a hit to the head on Manny Arceneaux.  Today, Lions Purifoy targets RedBlacks slot Jake Harty.  He took a hellacious hit  from Purifoy who clearly targeted Harty's head. No penalty. I guess only superstars like Arceneaux are protected & Canadian scrubs like Harty aren't. can't touch the so called superstars. Lofler did exactly the same thing as Purifoy & got  called for an illegal hit. Joke.

Man BC is teh shits now... They've really fallen off without the ginger. Would love to see them lose to Ottawa here. Imagine if the Riders were actually able to surpass the Lions in the West???

I'm a Jennings fan and I think he should be pulled at the half. His INT in the endzone was a horrible decision and he hasn't done anything since to make me think he'll turn it around this game. Time for the red headed guy.

It appears the Johnny Jennings era in BC is now over.

And the Riders win over them is getting lessened cuz of the beatdown they're getting in TD Place.  Man we are so going to kick these guys asses when we play them in IGF

I never liked him. He's a turnover machine. I think TSN built him up too soon & are still singing his praises even when he plays badly. Even today, Milt is going, "He's 25 & obviously the future". Why does his age make him the future? To me, he is an overrated young qb who gets rattled easy under pressure. If he continues to put the Lions in a huge hole before the stubborn Buono pulls him then how is he the future? I've seen other young BC qbs with more talent than Jennings wilt under the pressure so it  doesn't surprise me Jennings struggles so much. Guys like Paul Brothers & Don Moorehead. Jennings has a decent OL, great receivers & running backs & he still can't get it done.  The other guys didn't. Wally being Wally refuses to start Lulay so he's to blame...  His coaching decisions will kill that team.  Which is fine by me.

The problem with the Lions is they start Jennings, get into a huge hole then think Lulay can save them. That's Wally anyway. 

I'm thinking Jennings just started his last game this year, barring another Lulay injury.  But even so, I still think Richie Hall should get fired if no cup is won, he's clearly our biggest liability as the Rodblacks are proving today.

The RedBlacks are proving that? This game is Jennings. We played against Lulay. We gifted BC 2 late TDs in week 5 in our 4 th game. I'm not about to defend Hall's system, but these two teams BC, and the Bombers are different teams than 5 weeks ago, don't you think?

I'd hope so, I still didn't like much of our showing from Thursday though apart from Randle's INTs.

Trevor Harris?  Nope I'd just say he's .... a bit better than average but can get sloppy with decision-making.  I'd say he'd better watch his back cuz Drew Tate has won a lot of football games in his day.
