Still does not mean Helle should be literally sitting on his azz at that point. No one touched him.

I don't disagree, but man, the dude was point blank in front of our net... no one near him.  That's not on the goalie.

And guess who was on for Detroit's 3rd goal?

I agree. Could Kyle Connor be any worse? Hellebuyck should have had that 1.

Why the hell did Maurice switch Ehlers and Perreault?  That first line was playing great!   Bring someone up from the 3rd and drop Stafford down, if you want to make a change.

Hey I wouldn't mind OT at this point, especially if we end up winning in the end considering that we need 3 straight wins sooner rather than later

Oh well we had enough chances at the end of the game.E hlers has had enough chances in the last two or three games to score 6 goals. What aboutLaine? Wow just wow.

If PaMa's plan to make the fans hate Stafford even more so was to put him in on a shootout to save us then it worked PERFECTLY!

Fun fact, if Hellebuyck's first 46 games are indicative of his true talent level (far from certain yet but let's just assume for the moment) he has the same career save percentage as Ryan Miller. Who did in fact win a Vezina one year. Also the same as Jimmy Howard a career average starter (10-20 in the league). He's just behind Jonathan Quick and Craig Anderson, well ahead of cup winning Marc-Andre Fleury and Cam Ward.

Maurice cost us this game tho. Stafford in the shootout and messing with the lines cost us. We didn't have a shot in the third until 10 minutes left. 

Maurice really did dumb things this game.

Connor should start next game or send him down already.

4th line just lowers his value. You gotta move him now but I seriously doubt anyone takes him. 

 I don't care what we get for him. I want him gone. I am sure he would return a third-round pick right now and if he didn't I would settle for a fourth round pick. I would even retain 50% of his salary. Armia going to play 4th line when he gets back because Stafford is on the first line or second line?

I like armia but can you please stop making him out to be this prolific point producing guy when he's not? 

Dano should be ahead of stafford now and Armia 

Armia is a good defensive player and good pk guy. Good bottom 6 player but he's tge same age as scheif. Dano is 2 years younger. Armia is almost at the point where he is what he is and that's fine. All teams need good defensively responsible pk guys.

Paul Maurice make some coaching decision's that make's my head spin sometimes but he's the coach and i am not, but splitting up Little, Ehlers, and Laine in the 3rd was crazy.

You have a short memory or you might remember that he or Ehlers was the best forward on the team when he got hurt. How many points you think he is going to get with Lowry and Matthias? He was setting them up multiple times a game and they couldn't put it in the net.

Armia was very good when he got hurt.  Best player on the team?  He wasn't scoring.  He was excelling at playing defensively on a line that was very good at puck possession.  But it was a short sample size also.  I like Armia.  When the trade happened and no one was talking about him, I posted some stuff about him from Finland calling him Selanne with less of a scoring touch.  So we know he can be good.  But lets not get crazy.

But all things being equal, I'd rather see him in the top six than Stafford because even if he doesnt score (which Staff isnt doing either), his other facets are better.

I think the LLE line was split up to spread speed and scoring over two lines.  Probably the Wings were loading up against Little's line and Maurice was trying to juice Wheeler's line a bit.  Had they scored and won, we'd be talking about the genius of splitting them up.  So let's take some deep breaths.
