  1. If Enstrom is our 1LHD (I hate these stupid terms) then that's why we won't make the playoffs again this year. We need to get better at that spot. A lot better.
  2. Look at Ryan Ellis. If that guy can play in the NHL Morrissey should be able to play as well. And don't get me started on Enstrom...
  3. Who is on the block? Trouba? Myers? Stafford? Burmi and Enstrom??? (that's just my wishful thinking)...
  4. yup. The fact they traded up to get him shows how badly they wanted Stanley. They could have traded up to get Chycrun but I think Stanley was their guy. Now if Chevy had worked out a deal with Edmonton to grab Poolparty at 4th overall I would have just about exploded...especially if it had involved in anyway the jettisoning of Enstrom and Burmistrov...
  5. I guess I will reserve judgment and see where he ends up this year regarding injury. He just seems to get hurt more than other players, but that's just potentially my personal bias. As for Enstrom, I don't mind if he misses time in the line-up, but that's just because I don't think he's very good.
  6. Yeah - trade em Enstrom, Burmi and #22 overall. Or wait for Torts to run Puljujarvi out of Columbus like he did Johansen and get Pulju in a trade next year.
  7. yeah but this is Chevy. The guy was able to get Myers, Stafford, Armia, Lemeiux and Roslovic for Kane and Bogosian. Let him work his magic. But ok - Stafford, 22nd overall and Enstrom. Throw in Burmi too. Done.
  8. Man we have a lot of potent weapons now to put out there on the power play...with Myers and ugh...Enstrom quarter-backing on the points. The only place I don't mind seeing Toby is on the PP. That's about it.
  9. That's probably a good line up, though I cringe at seeing Enstrom and Stuart on D. One of those guys has to go. I get that there is no room for Burmi or Petan right now, though a trade involving Staff might be in the offing to open things up for Lemieux and Petan. I really liked Petan's effort level last year. If he shows up willing to work that hard in TC, then he might make it impossible to send him down.
  10. Sweet - lets play him at LHD all year so then everyone can stop crying about why we need that bum Enstrom.
  11. No thanks. Enstrom for Eberle - done and done. And I mean done.
  12. I'm not going to go around the merry-go-round again with Enstrom. Let's just say if he's traded, I'm not going to cry.
  13. if Enstrom is truly our "best" LHD then no wonder we are not in the playoffs. Is it a coincidence that the Jets started winning as soon as he came out of the line-up?
  14. I didn't forget them. I just don't see where there's room for all of these guys. Someone's going to have to go. Honestly, with injuries being inevitable, I don't think we'll start the season with Lemieux or our first pick this season in the starting line-up, but they may be there during the season when Perrault gets injured, like he seems to every year, and others go down, which is just the way things are in the NHL now, unless you are Andrew Cogliano. Stafford can be traded for all I care, as long as he's packaged with Enstrom.
  15. Currently sitting in SeaTac airport waiting to connect to New Orleans. I will watch next week. All I can say is that I wouldn't have Enstrom on my team. But that's me.
  16. Trouba had 24 minutes last night while Enstrom and Myers were tied with 22 minutes.
  17. Ok, I take back the Melch instead of Tyrion Enstrom comment. I have to say though I really am liking the work ethic of the team these past few games. They just skated those sad-sack Canucks right into the ground last night. Every line was busting it, and you have Kosmo/Lipon/Halischuk playing like they don't want to be sent down. Can't fault those guys for lack of hustle. Lipon especially. That kid has some heart. Kosmo and Lowry seem to have some chemistry too.
  18. LOL - Bromance with Myers. Ok. Well we'll just agree to disagree on Enstrom.
  19. Other than that one brain fart, I thought Melch did good for a guy who has played one entire NHL game in his life. Like his size too. Would rather have him out there than Enstrom or Postma.
  20. as long as the puck never went into the corner, and as long as no one ever was standing in front of the net. But otherwise, yeah Enstrom can really shut down the other team all right. Seriously, I spit out my coffee laughing when I read that sentence.
  21. ok, well I don't really know what your point is above but I think you are ok with drafting an RHD in 2017? Anyway, no need to over-analyze it. I'm just saying that I watched Adam Foote's son on Friday night and he was quite impressive, very big kid with a lot of skills. I was really impressed with his timing on pinches, and he almost always came up with the puck in one-on-one battles. Kind of the anti-Enstrom.
  22. Enstrom in that D corp is my main issue. As for Chychrun, we need to see if he can make the jump to the bigs.
