  1. Agreed I think the PR money thing is a red hearing; it is not as bad as people seem to think it is.  I mean, salaries in the states also are not super high.  I do not know his educational background, but in all intents and purposes he makes more money on the CFL PR than the average Canadian makes at their regular job.  So although it isn't NFL dollars nor is it going to make anyone rich.  It isn't the poor, almost living on the streets type of cash either.  I mean we also state that they have a family to support at home, but it seems to me most of them are in their lower 20s with no families to support, just starting out on their own.  I would bet the average 20 to 27 year old Canadian makes even less than the average Canadian so I mean, really.... to me the decision was more he didn't like his roll of not being on the active roster and felt he deserved to be and thus he would have more opportunities with another team if he was not on the PR at all to allow any team to negotiate with him and allow them to know he is a free agent that is interested in being on the active roster.

Perhaps he has a family business or something back home that pays well that he wanted to attend to which is also the case; being off the PR would allow him to do that and just wait for a phone call if an injury or something happens.  We just don't really know.

  2. I don't believe that was a blow to his head; you watch it was chest first.  The helmets maybe lightly touched but honestly that was more just because both of their bodies colliding and his going forwards as his body went backwards.  I mean; I honestly believe the call on the field was correct myself and TSN is just going over board on that blow to the head thing

  3. Harris actually seems like he could become the Blue Bombers Nick Lewis in the future; when he is ready to stop taking those hugue beatings he has the ability to get the YAC with those under routes to be a good second down conversion type piece.  Once Flanders has developed allowing us to always keep two Running Backs on the field at one time.  I too want to see more of Flanders this game just because I felt if we are going to have two running backs we need to utilize both of them so that defenses do not just focus on the one.  I did feel though that Flanders was not picking his holes well the last game which could be why he didn't seem to get used as often.

  4. With Dressler back I actually think that will allow Lapo to open up the playbook; I mean I still wish we were having poop Johnson in the game as well somehow but we don't.  I'm sure we will get burned for a long run as well as burned for a couple big plays but I'm confident that our team can keep this one close.  I feel the team with the last possession of the ball is the team that wins this one and I believe that we have the ability to ensure we control that game so that we are the ones who have it.  Should be a high scoring, close match-up.  I don't expect either time to get blow outs like the last two rough rider games.
