Agreed. We might have the 2 most underrated D players in the league on our team in Thomas and Randle... Thomas also has the stigma of being from a small Maritimes CIS school in Acadia. Hes a damn good player tho. Very impactful.

A big part of those 50 50 balls is the receivers ability to come down with the catch also. Nichols only gets help from Adams and to a lesser extent Dressler on those throws. I remember several where our receiver had a hand on the ball but dropped it.. Is that on Nichols?

Thomas and Corney have been good all year tho. Hurl wasnt really noticeable last night. I really dont think 1 game proves anything but Thomas and Corney have been good since Game 1 pretty much.

What nichols lacks in lets call it skill.. He makes up for in intangibles.. Leadership.. Putting himself in the way in a blowout to get a block for Harris.. The Warrior mentality.. Never say die attitude. Hes not elite but if im ranking QBs in order.. Hes number 3 right now behind Bo and Reilly and IMO.. Thats good enough.

Personality sells... NHL for example instead of focusing on Crosby or Mcdavid or Matthews who basically have no personality and are just robotic in their mannerisms should promote guys like Burns or Subban or even Patrik Laine.. They all have personality.. They could sell the game.. The stars tho.. The "faces of the game" dont and cant cuz while they might be great players... They are boring. CFL needs more Reillys and guys of that nature who show individuality instead of being robots... Personality sells. Promote the guys with it and you will sell more tix and merch.

To go from 2 divisions to 1? The last several years now the West has taken a crossover spot from the East and it looks extremely likely again this year.. Is it time to scrap the East West stuff and just go to 1 division with the best teams making it? I mean its probably not gonna happen but the riders could very well end up with more wins than the 1st or 2nd place team in the East and miss the playoffs.. Is it time to just go to 1 division and the top 6 make it regardless of west or eastern based? Its at the point now where it seems every year a western team crosses over First 2 teams get a bye.. 3 vs 6 4 vs 5.. Then.. 1 vs lowest remaining seed and 2 vs the other?

Who do you sit if Johnson is healthy? Tough decision cuz u aint sitting Roc since hes a CB so of Walker (looks good) Fogg(punt returner extraordinaire) or Johnson (hasnt played in a very long time and making bank). Choice is obvious in a sport where SMS matters.
