But ironically Comrie is number 2 in the playoffs in goals against average. It’s irrelevant cuz we get blown out games 3 and 4 with him in net Also. People who are blaming Helle are showing a serious lack of hockey knowledge. It’s not him. People lack memories cuz this same **** that happens in St. Louis happened in Colorado last year. Our tiny slow D is being owned. That’s that simple. We are small. There’s this narrative that the jets are big and heavy. Outside of Lowry and a 6 foot 8 d man who really isn’t ready for playoffs and never will be cuz bro isn’t a good skater, who exactly is big and heavy? Kyle Connor who actively tries to avoid contact? Cmon. We small and that’s the problem. Our D can’t move people out of our goalies way. 1 bad goal? Sure but when you losing in St. Louis by 3 every game, 1 bad goal don’t matter.

Helle was a man by himself in the first. 8 2 shots after 1. And of those 7 8 shots he made 5 or 6 10 bell saves. St. Louis is exposing our small slow D. I think goal 3 was tough but the other 4, no chance really. You can’t give pucks away in the slot and expect to win. Stanley alone did that 3 4 times. Demelo was mentioned, ended up in the back of the net. Luke Schenn is cooked. I can see why he was actually on waivers and sent down not long ago. He’s being exposed badly. Without 55 we can’t win tho and honestly I thought the boys generally played hard but imploded for 10 minutes. Honestly. Once it was 3 1 it was over cuz who was scoring 3 more to win for us. Appleton being offside by 5 feet was my turning point.

Hope 55 is ready to go. not sure what you do on D tho. Schenn is not having a good series. Even worse than Stanley really and he’s had giveaways to the slot every game. Miller in for Schenn?? wonder what’s wrong with Lowry and Josh tho. Both seem honestly like they are playing through some serious injuries themselves. Captain has been invisible. They were tho up until start of the 3rd. First and the first 10 minutes were even. Last 10 of the 2nd wasn’t. 3rd is garbage time. The other pluses are the pp is currently 2 for 5 and pk is perfect going a ridiculous 7 for 7. I don’t think the problem on d is fixable tho. Kinda double downed on it signing pionk long term. He gets pushed around easily in this series. So is Josh. Schenn is a disaster as is Stanley. Samberg ? He’s ok. Demelo being pushed around also.

Yes. Unless seriously edited they got the 3 guys they wanted. Shay smith and the QB. I think Shay and smith will dramatically improve special teams and we have struggled there.
