I think you could make the case the goalies were better in the 80s despite their GAA and save percentages. They wore less padding. Todays 5 foot 5 Jesse saros looks like 6 foot 3 goalie did in the 80s, hell saros with equipment looks bigger still. I played. I was actually tall for a tender 6 4 without skates. I didn’t take up the room a 5 foot 10 goalie does today just by standing there and I played more in the 2000s and late 90s never mind the 80s. Goalie gear is insane today.

Milligan has a case for MODP but MOP? Please. Dude has been good. I’d say he’s been equal to Ford from what I’ve seen.

It’s been 6 games. I think ppl should just be happy Winnipeg has a top team in the nhl. I think that’s pretty unheard of. Seems like we a regular season juggernaut. I think in football it comes down to how your QB plays in the big games. Zach hasn’t been great. Brady mahomes Montana etc they all showed up when it mattered. Has Zach?

Doug Flutie, probably the greatest Argos quarterback ever, was 20-4 in his first 24 starts in Toronto. Kelly is now 20-5. you can’t deny it. Gross but.

SJ aren’t that bad. Jets just owned them early and often. On the road trip SJ gave up 14 goals. But 8 last night. So 6 in the other 2 3 games combined. They did just play the night before tho and jets were off a week.
