Morley is probably getting paid pretty nicely, he is a vet and a canadian and a starter for this team the last few years, My bet is he's being paid quite well so i'd suspect he either retires or is traded. If i had to guess, i'd lean towards retirement

3rd goal was weak but we only scored 1 against Rinne so we'd still lose 2-1 if that 3rd goal didn't go in. Fact is, Rinne is 7-0 in his career vs the Jets. Could start a brick wall and it wouldn't matter. Dude just has the Jets number. Several fantastic saves. If anyone but Rinne played that game, we win easily. Pav played well too and has actually played very well vs Nashville this season, Just we can't beat Rinne. It is what it is. To blame Pav for the other goalie being the best goalie in the league is crazy actually. Pav played well enough to win, could argue he kept the Jets in the game at times making several huge saves. Just Rinne is too good.

To be honest, Rinne is 7-0 in his career vs the Jets, so we could start a brick wall against Nashville and would still lose if Rinne played. He's just got our number. He's the best goalie in the league and it's pretty obvious. Got some luck too tho, hit a couple posts. I'll say this much, If Rinne wasn't playing, we win that game easily. 3rd goal on Pav was kind of weak but again, the first 2 weren't and we could only score 1 so we lose anyways. Also need to keep in mind that Myers was injured on that goal too so it was essentially 5 on 4 for Nashville too.

I'd sign stafford. Maybe let Frolik go if he doesn't want to sign b4 the deadline too. As for free agents. I'd look to upgrade the 4th line. Maybe a Daniel Winnik type and leave some spots open for the kids like ehlers petan and copp if he decides to turn pro

We do open in sask and will play labour day and banjo bowl too vs them. It's our rivalry team. Guaranteed we will play the riders 3 x every year moving forward. Difference being one year we get 2 home games. Next year they do.

Stafford and Myers were fine for just arriving and having only 1 practice with the team. Stafford is a good 2 way forward. Give him and myers some time to get used to the system and they both will be very good.

Wonder if Jackson sticks around and becomes either dl or lb coach,whatever Knox isn't. I think its Jackson at least. Was defensive assistant I believe last season. Added him after or during training camp

This is a big trade and I like it. Myers has big upside. Hate to see Bogo go but some suggest he may have wanted to be closer to home. Let's just say. Myers for Bogo is a wash. Kane gets us Stafford Armia lemieux and either st Louis or nyi first. We win this trade now and the future
