As for Maas whining, I don't hear it. https://www.esks.com/2019/08/23/post-game-head-coach-jason-maas-26/

It's no wonder they're not recognized, official stats record Jefferson with 3 QS's with no sacks for any other members of the team. I'll have to re-watch the game more closely but I know Nevis, Richardson and Hansen got to Harris at least once each putting him on his back and Thiadric was responsible for one F.F.. In the end stats. are for losers, this is the best D-line the Bombers have fielded in an extremely long time.

No tie breaker, Bombers take the season series 2-0.
-
Hansen is everywhere, in the backfield, making tackles 40 yds. downfield, he's having an amazing game and does not look at all out of place.
-
Edmonton D-line are dirty buggers, hopefully they don't get any free shots at Streveler. The head shot MBT took from Mike Moore last weekend was fined but it should have been an automatic 25 yd. penalty by the command centre as the infraction was so obviously vicious. After the hub-bub of the Simoni hit on Collaros died down things appear to be back to normal in regards to on-field player protection.

It's time to hand the ball to McGuire
Fatty Liver replied to do or die's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I don't know, maybe Matt shouldn't be surprised that #66 allowed the backside DE to waltz around him and blindside him, as it 's such a regular occurrence he should have seen it coming. 🙄 https://www.cfl.ca/2019/08/15/matt-nichols-leaves-game-with-shoulder-injury/ -
Both the DT's and the DE's need to be spelled to remain effective, this should have been dealt with as soon as Jeffcoat went down.
-
Sure hope Roh is good to go for Friday, I still think they need to find another DE prospect for the PR.

Re-signing Willy would just be awkward for both sides, kind of like inviting the first ex-wife to your third wedding.

The best QB's are smart, success rarely has anything to do with their physical assets, in fact a lack of brains is why the majority of QB's fail. Luckily Streveler is also smart. -

How would you hold up if you got hit by a truck? Would the fact that some bones may break from the impact somehow define your physical toughness? -
Na’ty Rodgers sounds familiar, wasn't he with the Bombers during 2018 T.C.?

Sending this out to no one in particular, but everyone posting here in general. . -
I wouldn't put money on the Bombers to come out ahead in a shootout like that, either with or without Nichols.
-
Same situation occurred 4-5 years ago with most starting QB's being knocked out, that season was the reason they brought in the stricter rule changes to better protect the QB's, apparently they haven't helped much.
-
Definitely, they cut him in favour of Bridge. Adams was also a F.A. for awhile before Hamilton signed him last season, so to be fair any team in the league could have picked him up if they wanted him.

O.T. and stands more empty than full in Calgary.

Als looking good as long as they remember to keep the run game going.

I assume it's associated with the pecker muscle? I guess that's the reason O'Shea doesn't share.

Detailed discussion of BLM's injury sounds like gobbledygook to Bomber fans. Won't reveal whether it's lower body or upper!!!

Cordarro Law is exploitable, over pursues on every play and ignores containment.
