  1. Meanwhile, Tre Roberson has 10 NFL workouts lined up. Adam Schefter‏Verified account @AdamSchefter Nov 26 More CB Tre Roberson, who had 7 interceptions with Calgary in the CFL this season, is drawing interest from over 10 NFL teams. Roberson was with the Minnesota Vikings in 2016/17 and is expected to be headed back to NFL in 2020.
  2. Willie: You tenda.... Strev.: Hey, I ain't that type of cowboy!
  3. J.H.C. I hope Strev. is wearing pants!
  4. "That's alright." "Works for me."
  5. If Collaros doesn't pause for serious reconsideration before signing an Argo contract his brain is perhaps damaged well beyond repair, nothing good can come of it. The Argos had to be near the bottom of the barrel in number of sacks given up last season, the only logical reason MBT survived the abuse is because he is actually an automaton named after his 3 constructors, McLeod , Bethel and Thompson. Sadly Zach probably won't last long.
  6. Ahem.... The 2020 CFL free agency period officially opens at 12:00pm ET on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Collaros is under contract with the Bombers until the above date, any discussions with other CFL football clubs without permission before that time can be considered tampering.
  7. Pretty difficult to find a Natl. DE good enough to supplement Willie and Jeffcoat without a major drop-off, they got fairly lucky with Kongbo. It would be good to draft a Natl. Safety or a solid WIL, as it is Exume and Briggs may be able to rotate in more next season.
  8. Here's the blueprint for shucking responsibility. Bankruptcy for profit in Alberta's oilpatch "At the root of the oilpatch strategy of bankruptcy for profit in Alberta is the energy regulator’s fictional accounting of ‘assets’ and ‘liabilities’ used to supposedly manage the province’s aging oil and gas infrastructure. The ‘assets’ counted by the captured regulator do not actually exist and will never be available to cover the ‘liabilities,’ which themselves are profound underestimates of the cost of reclamation." "Decades of captured regulators have allowed hundreds of billions in unfunded environmental liabilities to accumulate in Alberta. In the meantime, Alberta’s conventional crude oil and natural gas industries have matured and are now in terminal decline: hundreds of companies are currently insolvent and have been for some time, unable to ever pay to reclaim the mess they’ve profited from." https://www.nationalobserver.com/2017/09/08/analysis/bankruptcy-profit-albertas-oilpatch
  9. No problem, ratio issue covered.....ever so poorly.
  10. The NFL has not accepted the terms of the "NFL Window" yet, it remains to be seen if they will. "But the NFL never agreed to the conditions the CFL wants attached to letting players free from their contracts, including that players must make an active NFL roster, not a practice roster. The CFL is also insisting that players who fail to make an NFL roster have their playing rights revert to their CFL clubs after clearing NFL waivers. The conditions the CFL wants to apply are the same ones that existed when the NFL window was part of the CBA (the window was removed as part of the agreement signed in 2010). What has changed is the NFL’s stance on being willing to accept those conditions." https://www.tsn.ca/cfl-payers-stuck-in-limbo-with-nfl-window-issues-unresolved-1.1408559
  11. Damn, didn't even get one year out of him, what happened to the two year rookie contract?
  12. Who knows, Ekakitie didn't put in the work needed, Walters has drafted well in the last couple of years but not every draft pick is golden. If Griffiths can earn some reps. next season he may be in position to replace Jake the following year.....that is if Jake chooses to retire. Drew Desjarlais deserves more attention than he's received, not since Suhk Chungh has a CIS rookie stepped in and played so well on the O-line, an accomplishment even the highly touted Qadr Spooner failed to achieve.
  13. I can see Maas madly grabbing handfuls of Cody's magic "Jesus sprinkles" out of the air and spiking them back in his face. 😄
  14. Unless this lad can keep up with the big boys in the weight room he's not taking reps. away from the other DT's.
  15. Better to be "two faced" than a complete "ass face".
  16. Ex-Bomber Brandin Bryant update. Bryant signed with the Cleveland Browns on August 9, 2019.[10] He was waived on August 31, 2019 and was signed to the practice squad the next day.[11][12] The Browns elevated Bryant to their active roster on November 22, 2019.
  17. Amazing, has Benevides ever demonstrated he can be a good DC? Mike Benevides could surface as Lions’ defensive coordinator https://3downnation.com/2019/12/03/mike-benevides-could-surface-as-lions-defensive-coordinator/
  18. Strev. may just be one of those guys who doesn't quite get when the party's over and it's time to go home. 😄😄
  19. I don't even understand the intent of the rule, is this supposed to be a way to save money? Does it make the league more equal? I don't get it...
  20. Nichols worked to improve his mobility this past off-season, he was more mobile this year than last coming off his leg injury but he is essentially still a pocket passer. Collaros has always been more of a scrambler, if he'd signed with the Stamps instead of the Ti-Cats years ago he may have won multiple G.C.'s and better preserved his brain matter. Brain Matter-Scientifically illustrated.
  21. I don't think LaPo is the guy to change a culture, more of and X's and O's coach lost in his own world, Esks may not be a great fit. He could certainly improve their red-zone productivity as he did with the Bombers 2-3 years ago, bringing them from near bottom to near top in one year.
  22. Cleyon Laing ? Former Bomber Chris Casher plays for the Stamps and has also been called out for questionable plays.
  23. You would think D players are going to be ultra aware of Zach's condition and although they might relish the thought of playing villain, I doubt any of them want to be remembered as the guy that ended his career with a dirty head-shot. Except maybe Simoni, he has a strange way of justifying his actions.
  24. Fake time tunnel, that's nothing but fancy CGI magic, here's the real deal. Evidence that it really worked. Please pay no attention to the Hush Puppies the soldier is wearing, they were obviously accepted as a bribe from his captive to allow his escape.
  25. Extenuating circumstance, married this past March and already pregnant, Zach shoots only bullets.
