  1. Yoseph Goebbels, Hermann was the fat fly-boy that liked to dress up in women's underwear. You're right about the quote though, suits Trump's motive to a Tee. "His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it."
  2. As good a time as any to return the Bank of Canada to it's original purpose. If not now than probably never. Restore the use of the Bank of Canada to its original purpose, by exercising its public statutory duty and responsibility. That purpose includes making interest-free loans to the municipal/provincial/federal governments for ‘human capital’ expenditures (education, health, other social services) and/or infrastructure expenditures. https://canadiandimension.com/articles/view/the-bank-of-canada-should-be-reinstated-to-its-original-mandated-purposes
  3. Trump wants to change the name to the Chinese or "Wuhan virus" but is receiving push back, one confirmed case of a border-jumper being infected and he'll scapegoat us by branding it the "Canadian virus"! It's all about pointing the finger outward. https://nationalpost.com/news/world/g-7-failed-to-agree-on-statement-after-u-s-insisted-on-calling-coronavirus-outbreak-wuhan-virus?video_autoplay=true Personally I still feel terrible that we were responsible for 9-11.
  4. This might have something to do with it. They should force people who knowingly boarded flights while sick to attend any funerals they cause. How sick Canadian travellers are masking COVID-19 symptoms to get through airport screening Canadians desperate to return home from abroad in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic are easily circumventing air travel screening aimed at preventing sick and infected passengers from boarding planes, CBC News has found. Some are simply hiding symptoms from officials to ensure they can get back home. CBC News has found a number of instances where sick travellers have boarded airplanes back to Canada, no matter the risks of spreading infection. "Now is just the worst time to be coughing, sneezing or reporting any kind of symptom at an airport," said one university student in Toronto, who flew home from Spain on March 14. She admitted she purposely hid her symptoms and the fact she'd been suffering a fever hours before boarding the flight. "It wasn't information you volunteered. So I just stayed quiet about it." https://www.cbc.ca/news/investigates/how-sick-canadian-travellers-are-masking-covid-19-symptoms-to-get-through-airport-screening-1.5508276
  5. Just taking a look at what the stock market did today should tell you that's probably not going to happen, anytime there's an event like this wealthy people find a way to exploit it and expand their wealth and power.
  6. Narcissistic personality disorder Symptoms Signs and symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder and the severity of symptoms vary. People with the disorder can: Have an exaggerated sense of self-importance Have a sense of entitlement and require constant, excessive admiration Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it Exaggerate achievements and talents Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate Believe they are superior and can only associate with equally special people Monopolize conversations and belittle or look down on people they perceive as inferior Expect special favors and unquestioning compliance with their expectations Take advantage of others to get what they want Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others Be envious of others and believe others envy them Behave in an arrogant or haughty manner, coming across as conceited, boastful and pretentious Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they perceive as criticism, and they can: Become impatient or angry when they don't receive special treatment Have significant interpersonal problems and easily feel slighted React with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make themselves appear superior Have difficulty regulating emotions and behavior Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation
  7. However long it takes, you seem to think the problem will be solved within 60 days, I'm guessing it won't.
  8. Trudeau is attempting to create extraordinary powers so the Fed. govt. can react quickly and move decisively to combat the virus, without having to argue through every bullet point with the CPC who most likely want to take advantage of the opportunity to create dissension and make political hay. For example, forcing people to stay home and locking down the streets is a madly unpopular idea with many people, it will be extremely difficult to get a consensus to do this in a minority government situation, even though it could well be the swiftest solution to getting the virus under control and ultimately save the most lives.
  9. Ooops......misread.
  10. What worked in 2016 still works today, as long as they have Medlock kicking field goals, it's all good.
  11. Peter MacKay virtue signalling to Conservative voters that he intends to fight change but not necessarily willingly fight climate change, he's "old school" , wink, wink. Peter MacKay's claim that our emissions total is 'minuscule' doesn't really work as an excuse for inaction Peter MacKay isn't saying he would do nothing to reduce Canada's greenhouse gas emissions. But he does have a narrow reading of the degree to which Canada shares the blame for climate change. While MacKay has said Canada has an "obligation" to do "our part," he also has cast doubt on whether Canada can meet its target for 2030. He has twice said that "we're not the problem" and has described Canada's share of global emissions — 1.6 per cent — as "miniscule." His most forceful statement on the issue of climate change so far may have been a colourful analogy involving nudity and organic produce. The annual rankings of global emissions are indisputably dominated by a handful of major emitters But at 1.6 per cent, Canada ranks tenth among all nations in total emissions — more than 183 other countries, including large economies like the United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil and Mexico. Per capita, Canadians are among the highest emitters in the world — producing more than our fellow humans in China and India. If Canada's totals emissions aren't the problem, then presumably the same can be said for the 183 countries that emit less than we do. But it's also not obvious why any line should be drawn at Canada. If 1.6 per cent isn't enough to matter, it's also hard to say that Germany (2.2 per cent), Iran (1.9), Saudi Arabia (1.7) or South Korea (1.6) should shoulder much of the burden. Absolving those nations would leave just five countries to deal with the problem: China (27.2 per cent), the United States (14.6), India (6.8), Russia (4.7) and Japan (3.3). 12. The Riders also have posters of toilets in their washroom right above the holes in the floor. Aspirational!
  13. HaHa, they finally figured out they overspent in F.A. and are now trying to put the puzzle back together with too many expensive pieces Their pain is delicious. Hope they cut the whiny runt!
  14. The one thing I don't like is maintaining the 5 yard clear zone on all additional returns, it should be done away with after the initial kick so that a highlight of the CFL game can play out without being over-written by a stupid penalty call. Sometimes the officials need to get out of the way and let chaos ensue.
  15. The "Pocket Rocket" Onri Richard has departed, he holds the record for most Stanley Cup rings, winning 11 in 20 years. https://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/nhl-montreal-canadiens-henri-richard-obit-1.5488245
  16. 4 TV season in the early 70's and 3 movies, the last of which came out in 1983. I guess I could also complain about the Beatles breakup. 😁
  17. I have no such fear, really looking forward to their take on modern times, hopefully they don't just regurgitate their past success like Monty Python chose to. Such a pitiful output for their immense talent, mostly caused by their failure to find consensus on almost any projects for decades, now it's too late.
  18. "When old man Luedecke heads to town, things generally do not go well."
  19. Creating suspended natural areas that will be quickly destroyed by AB. red-necks driving their trucks, motor-cycles, ATV's and snow-machines throughout. Once decimated these areas will be declared "eye-sores" and sold off to private, well connected political supporters, who will keep them for their own use or commercialize them. That's the plan anyway.
  20. Single point has been around forever, calling it a "rouge" has not, as far as I know. Can anyone recall when this term started being used? I don't recall it being used at all in the 60's or 70's when I began following football.
  21. Wow, the generosity of the AB. tax-payer and Jason Kenney's heart knows no bounds, I do wonder what the terms of these loans will be....make no mistake, it shouldn't in any way be considered subsidization of the oil-patch, that is red-communist rhetoric . Alberta to give $100-million loan to decommission orphan wells. Alberta is offering a $100-million loan to decommission 800 to 1,000 orphan wells, a move that is expected to create 500 direct and indirect jobs in the oil services sector. The investment to the Orphan Well Association (OWA) will help the non-profit start 1,000 environmental site assessments that aim to return the land to its condition before the wells were built. The details on the loan will be finalized by April 1. https://edmontonjournal.com/business/energy/alberta-to-give-100-million-loan-to-decommission-orphan-wells
  22. Having 3 brothers named Daryl would be ridiculous, the one who speaks is named Larry.
  23. Which Derel is it you're referring to, Sir?
