Really? Cause i thought that he was noticably not as good as willy brohm or marve. Yeah he threw a few good balls but he also was missing a lot too. Came away a lot more impressed with the other qbs. I thought Marve looked fine today but I thought Brohm struggled again. Brohm often has trouble finding an open man, when the others QBs don't seem to be having the same problem. Willy has looked good all TC. I was there for the first and second scrimmage today. Were you there for both?

When I was a kid living in Winnipeg my buddies and I would go to the games on Friday night and then drive out to Winnipeg Beach and stay at the cottage for the weekend. That was before I'm embarrassed to say when drinking and driving was as public an issue as it is today. Quite frankly I wonder how I survived my late teens and twenties. Kids are much smarter today and I have all the respect in the world when they drink but take a cab, walk or appoint a "DD". Anyway that was quite a diversion from the topic at hand. Oh and I forgot to mention that Quinn Everett destroyed everyone in the QB and OL wind sprints at the end of practice today. Dom Picard finished last again by quite a bit.

I'm not a soccer fan at all, but my GF and me will be going to the USA vs. Australia game at IGF tomorrow. Thought we'd check it out since it's such a big event right here in Winnipeg. Plus we got a great deal on tickets. Anyone else checking out some games at IGF or following the World Cup?

Most of these guys aren't really injured. They're "veteran moves" aka veteran players resting their bodies for the regular season. Let the guys fighting for a roster spot show what they can do.

Other silver lining is that this happened fairly early in TC. Still 3 weeks before the season starts, so could minimize number of regular season games he misses.

Portis looked good again today. Still need to see him in game action, but I'm starting to become comfortable with him as the backup.
