Walters should be in the "Great" category for draft performance. He essentially got two first rounders (Goossen and Briggs) and a second rounder (Jones) in the first four rounds. Goossen and Briggs will be starters for the Bombers; Briggs won't be this year though. Privately, I'm sure Walters is giggling like a little school girl.

He said at the fan forum he didn't want the new LB (Kuale) thinking he was automatically the 'starter'.

What I don't understand is why aren't both sides meeting more often to negotiate? Seems like they meet for a couple days, then nothing for two weeks. Seems odd to me if they want to get a deal done.

$750 a week is $39,000 a year. That's a very decent entry level salary for someone just out of university.

Most guys on the PR live at the CanadInns on Pembina. I see them there all the time as I live in the area. The Bombers have a deal with CanadInns where the players staying there get their room and board (Aaltos buffet) for a decent rate.

I agree, this is the best of the major Bomber fan discussion forums. Congratulations on the one year. Has there ever been discussion about a MBB member get together? For example, watching a Bomber game together in a sports bar, a game of touch football?

I've found the roster is updated very fast on the blue bombers official website.

How does this money diversion scheme work? I'm not following.
