  1. I’d stop you right after the word really, add the word . . . hmmmmm let’s say sucks and that’s all one really needs to know about that.
  2. Chefs kiss on the #2 Clements. I loved watching him play. Him and the team around him really took me from an average to hardcore fan that remains to this day.
  3. If they do get him and when he produces watch for CF to strut around like a peacock like he had something to do with it.
  4. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with where things are currently, but I thought BO wants to pursue a NFL shot?
  5. For what's it worth I found this piece of info that may help with perspective in giving up a first round draft pick. Taken from Sportsnet a story by Jason Bukala: The Jets paid what seems to be the going rate this trade deadline season. First-round picks clearly have to be included to push deals to the finish line. The Jets’ first-round pick should land somewhere between 26-32 in June. It should be recognized that Winnipeg already owned Montreal’s 2024 second-round pick, which should end up being inside the top 40, so even after moving their first they still have a relatively early swing at a future prospect with that draft slot.
  6. And I don't enjoy his behaviour when things aren't going his way said while clutching my pearls. 🙂
  7. Just watching the guy he's one of the best between the 30 yard line to the next 30 yard line. Then, when it counts the most, not so much.
  8. And for the next 35+ games it will help us decide if we want to retain his services heading into the 2024/2025 season.
  9. Yet he still remains insane.
  10. Being the irrational nervous nelly that I am, all I'm hoping for right now is he helps us secure a playoff spot then think about hoping he helps take us deep into them. The standings are so tight right now that going on a heater or going on a cooler can drastically change a teams situation in the standings. I'm making no assumptions right now, analytics be damned.
  11. It's a tough tough business. Hired to be fired and usually not in the fashion one being fired thinks it should happen.
  12. Yes sir, he ran out of gas real quick as the game progressed.
  13. Man there's a lot of stats taken in hockey. What a job it must be to track them with some level of accuracy.
  14. Bring back hockey to Quebec! Yea I know I need to keep up with the hard numbers that tell one where to place an expansion team.
  15. I would take out the words 'the local' and replace them with 'a CFL'. The debate is not his elite impact, its more where's the max you need to pay balanced with ensuring you're not greatly impacting other areas of team development/improvement.
  16. I don't think I could stomach watching CF throw up one his his many fluttering duck passes, DS of course makes his trademark play on it for a catch then seeing CF strutting around like a peacock. Ugh.
  17. Poached from the Canadian Press: "It was kind of one of those things where I wasn't getting a ton of real looks anymore," Streveler told reporters Thursday during a video conference. "I've been home since August . . . I've been training waiting for a call for 18 weeks and it just got to the point where I was kind of tired of playing that game. "Everyone knows how much respect I have for this (CFL) game and the players up north and, of course, my love for Winnipeg. It was dry on the NFL side and I was like, 'Let's do it.' I just want to play ball and fortunately was able to get the opportunity here. I'm beyond excited about it." I enjoy that last sentence.
  18. Yup one dimensional player who excels at that one dimension but once teams figure out what to with that one dimension he fades away into the background unable to provide anything else. And having CS around now might open up even more parts of his game we haven't seen yet.
  19. I'm hoping with this signing we employ at times a 2qb formation set to keep the D on their heels. That will be fun to watch.
  20. All the best to him, looks like he’s doing what he needs to do.
  21. Cuthbert has tweeted he’s not cheering for or cheering against your team. I’m sure he would apply that to the Leafs as well. Eye roll. losing to the Leafs back to back is deflating.
  22. Watching the camera pan Leaf fans in our own building is probably the most nauseating thing to see.
  23. F’ing Helle with a poke check on JM.
