  1. Team game, team responsibility. This game so far has shown that. No one here is to blame, defense, offense or special teams. Win the second half.
  2. I hear what you're saying but the score of the game and who the player is has absolutely no relevancy in compromising how a potential concussion is assessed during a game.
  3. Shocking, a player saying he's fine. See Collaros for most recent example of hiding things and ask Matt Dunnigan. Not to mention the fact that concussions can take time to show effect. Neuroscience kind of thing. There is no argument here. The NHL has it right. He needed to go to a quiet room for further assessment. The hit didn't look bad, it was bad. Err on the side of immediate safety and longer term effect Matthew.
  4. In this day in age, I would be surprised by that. Even so, each team has medical professionals on staff and (should) know the specific steps to follow with a suspected in-game concussion. Sherman is saying there is no way he would have put JM back in if he knew something was wrong. I remember seeing the trainers (and others) working with JM on the sidelines after the hit but why they didn't take him to the quiet room is beyond explanation. Doesn't matter if he was saying the right things on the sidelines or not. Everyone has instant access nowadays to review plays and that specific hit he got blown up and needed to be further assessed.
  5. Don't the Alouettes follow in-game protocol on head injuries. After that hit JM took at the goal line, quiet room was needed. Where were the spotters in this game? What a hot mess.
  6. If this is in fact true, I'm more baffled because doing up his chin strap is for his safety, nothing more, nothing less. Remind me not to have in my car and ask him to do up his seatbelt.
  7. As I don't follow the Winnipeg media closely, has he been clear with shedding his NFL aspirations?
  8. Our last game, he seemed out of position on occasion. I think his football instincts are failing him right now.
  9. Bigger picture, his behaviour/attitude needs work for sure but he's good for the league imo, gets people talking about the CFL, grows interest. Hope he signs on with another CFL team just not ours although MOS would be someone that could help him but too much risk to take on.
  10. Confidence my friend, confidence. And yes, he probably could still play at a high level but he's also way too smart to even entertain that.
  11. This game with Randle was interesting, great coverage, horrible ball awareness.
  12. Hey if he can come back, lets start a petition to bring back #85!
  13. I would also add it really shows what kind of team player they are. Is it 'palms up arms up, wtf' or 'we'll get the next one'.
  14. Most of us want and know we need a GC championship. Other than that, what's your point? Just my approach but as a lifelong Bomber fan I don't defend other teams by pointing out our deficiencies, doesn't feel right.
  15. He showed glimpses of what he could do but Matt Dunnigan was bang on. As a QB you fully learn the Defense first before even thinking Offense. It showed on his first throw how right Matt Dunnigan was.
  16. Because most of them probably think he is right.
  17. Nothing in particular, that's how he rolls. Some call it being a competitor, others call it anger management issues.
  18. I actually hope he does well here that might influence other elite football athletes on the bubble of cracking a starting NFL roster to think a bit more seriously about starting/having a pro career in the CFL instead of sitting on a practice roster in the NFL. I know the salary thing but one can dream.
  19. That's exactly what happened. Well said by Vernon.
  20. Yup everything starts in the trenches.
  21. I wouldn't call him an idiot more like a competitor who didn't think things threw and now he probably is going to pay for it.
  22. Don't blame them. Horrible offensive play calling last night, tough to watch but very enjoyable at the same time.
  23. What a time for Kevin Glenn to be stuck behind Reilly in Eskiblow land. He could easily be starting in Toronto, Montreal, Saskatchewan.
  24. Almost got a touchdown out of it. A bit amateurish for my liking but both O's are stinking so why not play a little jump ball and see what happens. Chris Williams sure looks like he has lost his mojo.
  25. He had Rainey underneath and totally over threw him. If he could have connected, Rainy may have scored.. Don't understand why BC went away from their running game. Stubbornness of keeping to his gameplan and not adjusting Jarius Jackson imo did not call a very good game on top of Jennings not playing well.
