Another element I believe is this heavy resistance with HC’s to mobilize a 2 qb system other than trotting out a short yardage qb specialist. I get you need a number 1 and keep their confidence high get them in the rhythm of the game but it’s all mindset. Use Tre Ford as that 2nd package strategically during the game when the situation calls for it. He’s not #1 but keep the D on their toes knowing that they will be getting doses of two gb skill sets throughout the game. I think this issue needs to be debated more.
