  1. It doesn't take many cretins to spoil the atmosphere of any gathering, even if its an online forum. When the bashing becomes ugly, the best members will simply check out or just lurk and everyone loses. Then we have another ourbombers.
  2. Yes, but his detractors will always say that he Sukhs.
  3. As infuriating as it is on occasion to see a eastern poor team stumble into the playoffs with a worse record than western teams (and sometimes win the Cup), there is a value to the east-west rivalry tradition. To me, it is part of the character of the CFL and non-negotiable.
  4. Whatever kind of goat gonad supplements Lulay was on have worn off and their defence is porous.
  5. Because Collaros has done playing his normal two good games per year and the slugs backing him up are little short of pathetic.
  6. I would have believed that performance if they had done a field amputation on the spot.
  7. Would that not fall under the heading of "unsportsmanlike conduct"?
  8. I really liked how Peter Dyakowski came across in his interview. He might make a great panelist if he can do that while being in the CFLPA.
  9. No matter the outcome, this will be a memorable game for many reasons. Not the least of these is that one team or the other will have bragging rights for six months while the other will be proposing excuses and/or damning their coaching. This is for all the marbles and may even have greater emotional value than the western final the following week.
  10. Why the heck not? Playoff games often come down to the kicking game making the difference and this is really a nothing game to the Bombers although the Eskies are dressing all their starters, at least to start. Might as well give Medlock the day off.
  11. I cannot see Trestman committing himself to another team until his wife's health is resolved, and maybe not even then for awhile. Tate signing in Regina is a "meh"- I guess they need all the sub-par QB's they can find.
  12. I would think that the Eskies and Lions would also be interested.
  13. The game was almost painful to watch, and reached levels of apathy that should not exist.
  14. The problem being that Sutton is usually tackled behind the line.
  15. They could make the game more appealing to locals in Mexico if the O-linemen could wave red flags and the D-linemen could stick bandelliras into the opposing quarterbacks. And every time the offence makes a TD, they get to swill some worm-laden teqilla.
  16. During my university days when I was younger (and dumber, if that was possible), after a few beers our group got to arguing if farts were combustible. One of the gang a Quebecois named Daniel was determined to prove it one way or another once and for all, so he felt flatulence coming on, bent over and dropped his drawers. Another lit up a lighter a few inches away and waited for the blast of gas. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a wet fart, which doused the lighter and ensured that no such experiment was ever attempted again.
  17. He's pretty short, is he not? Would that make him a half-Nelson?
  18. No, no no. Those were related to a biblical strongman. The family is into car care products.
  19. I believe that he's still single, so you may be in luck. He may be on Tinder.
  20. No politician of any stripe is immune from using public money for promotion of themselves or their causes. I am pessimistic that the deal will either come through or make economic sense for the Nova Scotia government. Insofar as federal government promises are concerned, promises have a way of evaporating due to "unforeseen circumstances" shortly after the elections are over.
  21. According to 3downnation Eskimo GM Sutherland is already looking around for a replacement for Maas.
