  1. Who the heck is Calver?
  2. Gonna be a riveting game with a year's worth of bragging rights and a playoff position on the line. All the changes in the Bombers will either spur them to a heckuva game or self-destruct if they have some game setbacks and get behind. Despite whatever the Bomber players and coaches say, their confidence has to be shaky. They need to get out front and stay there. LaPolice needs to compensate for the Riders using the tactic of stacking the box and hardening the edge of the line of scrimmage.
  3. I take it that she was born and raised in Stepford?
  4. Its not hatred, its frustration, and if you have been keeping up, you would know.
  5. This absolutely looks to be a pivotal game for both teams, but Streveler turning the ball over is the least of the Bomber problems.
  6. Weird, I know. Whoda thunk that Dane would be this good?
  7. Aaaand...that's all she wrote.
  8. How can Edmonton penetrate the TiCat O-line so well and we couldn't?
  9. Kilgore looks almost like a quarterback tonight. Esks still look outclassed, though.
  10. If memory serves, Hall has had a serious health concern not that long ago. He has to have been feeling a lot of stress over the performances of his charges, and that is not good for his health.
  11. There have been a series of questionable decisions by the coaches.
  12. That is an unwarranted assumption on your part.
  13. To be fair to Harris, the O-line took that game off and Harris had very little room. The TiCats schemed for him and it worked.
  14. You are saying that Bighill is underperforming?
  15. As your chosen view fits yours.
  16. This sure as spit sounds like a poor coaching scheme. Benching under-performing players does not seem to be in the playbook.
  17. I suggest that the Bomber record over the past 6 games is the best measure of where the team is now, and that is not complimentary to them. Its not just the losses, its the way they lost games.
  18. Even with Hall present, the defence was terrible the past six quarters. How could it get worse?
  19. Far from it. I have loved and supported this team for almost 50 years, through good times and bad. I have seen enough ups and down to be able to tell fish from fowl and I have lost confidence in this coaching staff. At some point, they have to be held accountable for the fact that the team is not progressing as rapidly as other teams who have rebuilt and the Bombers still have great difficulty adapting to the other teams' changes. This doesn't mean that the current coaches aren't trying- I suggest that they simply are unable.
  20. There is a military axiom: Hope is not an actionable plan.
  21. Well, that explains everything. I feel much better now and will go have a nap. And a handful of Librium.
  22. That's a big if. I cannot imagine the blow to the team confidence should they lose to the Riders tomorrow.
  23. If you look at the past 6 games, the Bombers have regressed and the Riders have progressed. I think its obvious that the Riders have less talent, but their coaches have managed to figure out how to make Fajardo look like a legit quarterback. Its not all on the head coach, but ultimately if his subordinate coaches cannot adjust their game plans and if a poor player keeps getting starts (ie:Hecht) when even fans know that he is a problem, then it falls to the head coach. O'Shea can get a Mulligan for the first two or three years but the honeymoon is long over.
  24. I think they signed him two days ago.
  25. As the Bombers have proven in games against Toronto and Montreal, having better and more talent does not mean you are going to win. The coaching also has to be factored in, and I think (and the record shows) that the Riders have been the better team overall than the Bombers. You are what your record says you are.
