  1. I don't see the BC Lions' situation being any better than the one in Edmonton last year- if anything, its worse. I hope Reilly's next of kin has been alerted and he has a health-care directive in place.
  2. Geoff Gray and that big dude (Eli) from Hawaii. If these guys live up to their potentials, we're golden.
  3. Every draft pick is a gamble and we will not know for sure how well the Bombers did in the draft until September. However, Oliviera looks to have been a great pick. He is a local boy, and looks to be a punishing runner with intelligence, character and drive. Moreover, Harris is not getting any younger, so stacking NI talent behind him is a very good idea. I loved the pick.
  4. I should think that the CFL game ought to be a good less debilitating than the NFL where the average weight (probably supplemented by PEDS) is approaching 400 pounds and the clashes are a good deal more violent.
  5. I would venture to say that the Bombers made out the best in this draft but time will tell.
  6. He;s big enough to burn diesel (6'4", 315lb), so he ought to have enough body mass to not even need a parka here.
  7. Richards would have been a terrible pick at 32.
  8. I vote for Oliviera. Reminds me of Harris- a lot.
  9. Riders get a pretty good receiver.
  10. Apparently may miss the first couple of months to rehab.
  11. Might be the dark horse of the draft.
  12. Hmmm...Shane Richards can fall back on cricket if the CFL doesn't work out.
  13. Looks like a fridge with arms, but a mean one.
  14. All right!!! NOW its gonna get interesting!
  15. Looks like his legs are about 18 inches long, though.
  16. Aaand.... the TiCats pick a primate.
  17. To the surprise of absolutely no none, Argos pick Richards.
  18. Trump has gone right over the edge: At a recent Wisconsin rally, Donald Trump plunged to new depths with regard to a woman’s right to choose. Regaling his loyal supporters with a gruesome, fictional account of what happens in a delivery room, Trump insisted that doctors and mothers often conspire to “execute” healthy newborns. Beyond shocking, Trump’s grisly lie represented his latest mental leap into a world of fantastic violence. Yet in covering the rally and the ghastly infanticide claim, the New York Times could only summon enough courage to call Trump’s hideous declaration “a standard, and inaccurate, refrain.”
