to be honest...Edem is not much better...dumb penalties and cheap hits...tries for the big whallop and misses more times than he hits and is not a good cover guy...basically the same as Hecht t but Hecht doesn't take **** penalties like Edam....there is a reason he is on what his 4th team now with the Riders...it's not cause he was aggressively sought after Both teams could do better so they don't count since in same game? Also safety tackles not necessary a indication of dominance or success..more a sign of ball carriers are getting through the dline (a severly overpaid one that you can't deny) and second level... if you can't see that Winnipeg has better Canadian depth than Sask then you are a total Homer too...no...What Canadian starter...besides Edem (which you have stated already) would you switch if you could in a even swap..player for player? What rotational guy or back-up would you do the same?..

And that's what I noticed...and especially in goofy arena ball with the small confines..you need to cut and react quicker and in tighter spaces.

Bored so watching Arena Bowl...Moe with a 54 yard pick 6...looks a hell of lot more agile and faster than when he came back last year. Made some nice open field tackles as well..so far With our swath of db injuries I think he'd be worth a look..especially if Humes is out for extended time Knows system..knows league..seen it all..plays all db spots and Sam Be a nice safety rotation when we have Kongbo or Thomas in...he'd be excellent in over top coverage as well as run support...

We run Harris a lot yup..in different ways and seem to be riding him a lot. That being said Gable has 2 less rushes (played one fewer game too) Powell has 2 fewer rushes..same amount of games..prob takes more punishment too behind an inferior oline Nobody seems to mention that those teams are walking the line of hamstringing themselves..especially considering we lead league in td passes..so we will be fine..

Strev has really hardly had a chance to run the entire offence, let alone throw much..he's 9 of 13 for 82 yards..1 TD and 2 Picks..

I think we should start him and let him and team have it known he is taking the reigns of the offence..the full offence for the first couple of possessions...let Nichols watch from sidelines and see how things develop, and play out...get a feel for the game and realize taking shots isn't the dangerous taboo it is assumed to him.. Well he never turned ball over...got us in position to kick 2 field goals...another where we failed on 3rd and short...and put up 33 some odd minutes of time of possesion...effectively keping Cgy off the score board...there is that aspect that can't be understated Maybe it's football gods shining down on him for many many many games in 2016 and 2017 where he put up over 30 points as the QB and we lost because our defense couldn't stop a JUCO offence consistently

2 Of 3 facets are usually needed to win a game...and we accomplished that..and won were pretty much even in total yards on offence..Calgary had 19 more yards but we dominated time of possession...so why don't we deserve the win?? And looking back on years past this was a game we would inevitably lose 9 times out of 10 and it would be noted that good teams find a way to win...so perhaps maybe warts and all...we are now that "good" team...hmmmm

Nichols puts that ball over the left shoulder of Matthews he has body position and pulls it it....as it was..on wrong side and DB was able to get hands inside and disrupt the catch...why we don't take 3-4 shots like that to Matthews is baffling and is on Lapo....he makes 90% of those catches and it would loosen up defenses to allow guys like Lucky and Demski to grab crossing and slant routes in stride and most likely with a defender in trail position..I like our odds with any defender in trail position on Lucky...Grant too would be nice to see in rotation with Lawler
