other than his start...he's been parachuted in less than ideal circumstances...as well as less than ideal conditions in T.O....I say give him control for at least 2..3 games....all the prep...reps....and then make a decision based on the culminative work of 4 ...5 starts...if he strung wins together....gave us a chance to win every game....then keep him rolling and let ZC be the backup......if not for anything will have him more prepared and comfortable for if he had to step in again later in the yr

yeah....that would have been the ideal thing looking at it now....heck even moving him now somewhere for assets as he definitely shouldn't be looked at as the future next yr because really....it stunts us in getting in place 2027 and beyond QB.... Yeah...but would he have gotten hurt here how he did there?...That's something that can't be determined and not like it was some chronic injury we knew he had and had issues with it here...And in 2023/2024 if he was handed the reigns after ZC got his noodle rocked in Edm....he did have significantly better talent and coaching all around him...so hard to say if he would have got beat up...he never really did when he did play...and his price tage would have allowed us to retain say a Lawler...or go after some legit FA talent.....coulda woulda shoulda I guess eh?

Use this opportunity to gauge what we have....where we at...who may give this offence the best chance to actually sustain some kind of momentum?.....discuss

yup....he also makes play calls...with who he wants on the field...if he didn't he wouldn't have the play card...head set...a coordinator will create the scheme and basic alignments...the NC more times thn not will confer and direct what he wants...or suggests...thats just how it works. No C-Ord will get total control unless its a guy like Richie Hall or Lapo who have oodles of experience and trust

Hoping for guys late in the yr tho....fools game...gotta do things now and if/when those guys come free and we have the opportunity to sign them....well even better...you just exponentially upgraded your starters and depth. By the time some those options could be available we may be in such a hole no player is gonna want to sign on here save for Wilson who has no choice....and that may just make him wait it out the whole yr too

SAM should be one of your best....if not best all around LB/DB's....impactful and uber athletic...Kramdi is none the above...solid player in a role and depth...But as a starter....we can do wayyyy better for a smaller pricetag Same can be said for MLB...T.Jones in same boat as Kramdi...that good depth tole guy but not the everydown starter...too many holes tho he likely isnt making a lot....which doesn't really make it better tho thats what is hurting us...there is a difference between depth of roster....and depth of ability We employ too many guys that basically are just used for special teams, and target them as such...as opposed to guys who can actuallyb play but due to actual depth...cant push out an established guy and are relagated to ST's...theres a big difference in that We have to change the way we go about rostering as it seems if a guy we seem to think isnt good enough to win a spot over an established guy...or older vet...we basically jut cut bait or let them waste on the PR because we are fine with our ST plugs who only fill that role...part of that problem is our draft philosophy....and our bias toward vets and long tenured guys

when you are still good...thats where u earn your money and know that you need to be looking 2...3 yrs forward...and if at the minimum have guys already working at the transition...being played....using your PR all yr to bring in...ship out guys...and yeah make the hard cuts where people may say...why??...we didnt do any of that and this was a steady build up to where we at now....right on the edge of either making some hard decisions now and righting the ship...or doing what we have been and having a total gutting next yr...and more than likely a few yrs of lost in the woods again....and if no real change at the top...we gonna be lost a while cause don't think we have the goods to coach our way outta it...and by goods i mean coaching ability

Status on Collaros.....aged and in serious decline....and have to think now is dealing with an ongoing injury issue I think stemming from that Edm game...and hasnt really been 100 percent fixed...if ever will. I also pretty sure we (the team) are/were very aware of it and the fact they have done nothing really to either put the actual work/time/packages/reps together to develop a guy already here....or make a move to get a possible heir apparent is an utter failure all around...with multiple people to blame for it, and the fact we actually had the poor judgement to re-up him before he even stepped on field this yr, let alone took a snap in an actual game has to be one of the most bone headed moves in decades.... Incompetence all around, and not sure the dynamics of what going on and who's word holds the most say, but to me I think the bit of success the team had was attributed way too much to Osh and with that somehow he gained more control of the who and how we go about player signings and FA targets, or has totally taken over....I am certain Walter's hasn't gotten real stupid overnight, moreso has forgotten he is the Boss and actually has a set of plumbs dangling between his legs and needs to take control back...or get out of the way and we get someone else in who will Honestly tho...I think after the yr is thru we move on with Osh, and get a new fresh guy in their who knows talent and x' and o's and keep moving forward...For most part players coming in now....new to league....or just new to team don't know Osh from spit...and have no allegiance to him or this fascination he is the be all end all....
