Fajardo will play...and I hope he does as he doesn't really scare me and the defense knows what he is and what you will get, and if he isn't 100% it will be even less than normal...which wasn't great with him leading that team over 3 games they only averaged just over 16 points per game against us, and he threw more INT's than TD's (3 to 2)...and that was against us in games where we were missing Harris..Nichols...Alexander..Jeffcoat among others and were probably playing some of our poorer ball of the year and were a very one dimensional team. Since then we have replaced Hecht with Alexander..Maston for Rios..Jeffcoat is back to form...so it's a different defense, and scheme now... Fajardo was/is your classic feast on the crap teams...very mediocre to barely average against good teams...go back and look at his stats vs CGY/WPG/MTL and see for yourself..

ahh gotcha...and yeah i got that vibe from TSN too...anything to stroke Sask fans fragile persona

Nichols is a good QB..cerebral and efficient but not other wordly. On a good team with a nice compliment of weapons he is excellent and a guy who will win you more than you lose, but he is what he is...won't become anything more now and isn't a guy who will consistently out a team on his back and carry/will/inspire them to win by himself. He may make the odd spectacular play but it will be rare and it's not in his DNA Strev is a different beast at this time...smart and young/inexperienced and learning the game...He is fire and determination and a outright beast who can..and has taken a game in his hands and just powered his way to succeed at any cost, its more so one dimensional to this point, but is leaps and bounds better than when he first got here...he can and has done he spectacular and sticking with him over the longterm will do it over and over and he WILL start doing it in the air...for all the detractors out there he is not just a runner....he's just been more of a runner while here than a passer, and thats due to his limited experience as a starting qb at any level. The special thing with Strev is the team already has his respect and see's his commitment to the team and what he will do...and they will go through a wall for him, on both sides of the ball because they see him doing it on every play..and that is huge..he has that unique ability to raise the level of play of everyone..defense included and players have already said as much.

he played teams here before he got to regina

All things considered who's to say that if Matt didnt get hurt we dont go say 6 and 3 or better in the final half of season.??
-
I dont think that was a case of overconfidence moreso of coasting after getting up and not being able to get the mojo back. Over confidence and cocky would have been losing basically from the onset The CGY game showed a team that got a lead later in game..and extended it instead of sitting on it..and not letting the team off the mat whatsoever. Same can be said about the last home game against montreal..we got up in 2nd quarter.. held the lead and still outscored them over final 2+ quarters..this team ain't going down that path again

go to the 8:05 mark and have a ganders...but the bleeped out the Neufeld comment hahaha

tOOK A GAME OR TWO FOR Neuf to shake off the rust and for him and Hardick to get used to each other...but they on same page now -
Like he did to Judge...then Moncrief...then a couple other Riders all in one play in BB....
-
he does all his yapping based on his one anomaly year where he was gifted easy INT's all year...never been a quality DB...Hasn't been on 3 teams in his 7 years because he was a hot commodity...and he's a me me guy first...not an ultimate team guy...I still cant get that sad image outta my head when he was begging for someone to give him a car on the sidelines to the camera in a game where he got gifted a couple picks...just sad
-
no limit on "unofficial" team practices....what players do on their "own" time is their own business...trust me...good teams do a lot of stuff on their own time

the oline is really coming together...look at the wall of protection to the right of Collaros when he hit Darvin on the 71 yarder...and it was like that most of the game... -
I couldn't recall who it was for the life of me...but when I seen him live in Oakland last week it hit me! I also throw the ball mainly with arm and wrist like that...no strain whatsoever on the shoulder and with a flick of the wrist you be surprised the distance you can get if your strong...which Srev is
-
yeah he is the ring leader of the clown show there...watch him this game...he won't stick his nose into the rough going to make initial contact to bring a guy down...especially Strev...I think he is actually scared of him..in a couple of the games in Strev's runs he actually shyed away and basically avoided the contact....

yeah he is fast..when he hits it and doesn't jibber jabber and ***** foot around...he gets a crease and takes it...he can go to the house at any point on field... -

Yeah forgot about that one too...I would have taken the BC safety as well ahead of anyone... -
I think Strev knows that, and I also believe he isn't going to explore going anywhere else to be honest...this team (players) already respects the hell out of him and will go through a wall for him...as he would for them, and even though he has been on again off again starter, and still a work in progress...everyone in the huddle on both sides of the ball know this is his team...he solidified that in the WSF....

as well as their O-line..How Dan Clarke got the all star nod is baffling...he is the most nonathletic and immobile center in the league and gets turn stilled more than anyone...that one really threw me for a loop...and it's not just a Rider hate thing....he's brutal Watch him exclusively in the WF and watch him bumble and stumble around out there...if getting in the way of things and falling down and tripping when in the second level constitutes being an all-star then yeah he nails it...but man o man -
I agree...if we go outside the org thats where i set my sights...and I'd lean to Massoli...Resign Strev who basically gets to start season you would think as he prob won't be a legit 100 percent to start season.. and you can park his SMS hit on the 6 game...Gives Strev a chance to take reigns and show he has progressed more, and if he hasn't really yet you have Massoli to take over at some point and have a nice QB combo again... Almost certain as well that if the league sticks with the 2 rostered QB rule that there will be some type of concession for a 3rd stringer on roster somehow as you cant expect teams to only have 2 guys

maybe he will take his goofy surf board to the ball...havn't seen much of it the last half of the season.....again -
found it interesting..and funny that every time a play failed for them you would see Bo look around for a flag...hooping dearly and it never materialized for him

Exactly...and proven versus Calgary..Defense was influenced by Harris fake on Demski TD, And the possibilty Strev kept it, and we saw the result...same with his 24 yard run for TD in fourth..CGY had to basically pick the poison on staying with Streveler, or Harris on the outside pitch....and at times with either of those guys, they don't go down easy, and rarely at first contact and takes a concerted multiple guy effort..so even if they pick the right guy, it's usually after netting positive yardage -
pretty sure Osh won't let over confidence and cockiness creep into things...This team doesn't seem like a group to do that...thee doesn't seem to be any one individual who thinks they are above the team here, and if one emerged then the leaders would nip that in the bud...I think Gaitor's dismissal is an example of that..regardless of the outcome I think it's gonna be the best game of the play-ffs to watch....
