well at worst if Nichols is healthy..and playing like 2019 pre-injury we know we can win games..and if we incorporate the Strevler use more liberally with Nichols to soften things up and develop him things could be a lot worse. If Lapo stays perhaps he loosen's up now and opens things up more like he did...It's not an issue that Nichols can't because if you look at a lot of early season highlights he was dropping some dimes on a lot of deep balls...and had some guys drop a bunch too....do it more...you make more I say

well sure...but again...we never gave it back with a turnover and even tho we didn't score all TD's..we still got points and kept it at a 2 score lead all game pretty much...and people forget that Ticats were the apparent top defense in league...you have to give them some due even though we smacked them around....and again...it's a 3 phase game, along with a turn over ratio battle and t.o.p thing...both of which we won as well. The other team is trying too ya know...it seems that some folks think that we should just score TD's at will...I'll take a offence where we rarely turn over the ball and score 28+ points a game on average..and generally win the t.o.p battle...which keeps other teams from scoring any day...and yeah if it's in conjunction with the defense getting us the ball back a lot..even better...it is a team game after all.. I truly think many here would, will and do complain about something incessantly regardless of out come and can never be happy or content...and to be honest in my opinion are a bunch of assbags for it..but whatevs..if it makes you happy........... We waltzed through playoffs..soundly beat 3 teams on the road to end a 29 year drought and people are complaining on how did it..or didn't do it...or could of..or should of did it better...give your collective heads a shake man

if we put up 33 and lost...then I'd be all over the defense..as that part of the TEAM failed us....do you not grasp concept of football as a total team sport and end results are a reflection of the sum of the parts..and generally if 2 of 3 main phases falter..you lose?

our defense dominated all play-offs,,,no questions about that at all...probably one of the best defensive runs over 3 games..against 3 teams with better records in CFL play-off history if you ask me

Well if Yoshi does it sucks...but good on him going out on top...and it could possibly open up an import spot elsewhere for us...we may be able to go 4 nationals on the O-line

was total team effort...the defense ruled the day and the offence did what they had to to put it away and not eff it up with stupid turnovers themselves...thats winning football

Demski is signed through 2020 season I believe...so a group with him and Woli as starting Canadians has to be a must do...Lawler I think can become that go to guy...Bailey too and I wouldn't toss away Whitehead yet...he has shown nice hands, and you know what he can do with ball in his hands..his route running wasn't bad at all..he just wasn't used ideally...Adams is a nice piece but if signing him prevents us signing our olour o-line guys...or a Jefferson or one of Sayles and Rose..then you have to let him walk Nevis too should be an easy re-sign..he makes not a big pile of cash and his increase shouldn't be too pricey...he's as solid a DT as you have in the league and is needed

and Bryant...they love it here..are huge parts of the success...and we can pay them market value..as we already are...you have to realize those two are pretty much making as much as they could/would anywhere and their bumps would be insignificant ones..basically just a increase based on a bit more due to the usual cost of living reason...they won't be having to be paid 10's of thousands more...and from what I know Bryant re-upped here for a really SMS friendly deal in Grand scheme of things..and is more than happy with it...and neither are looking to retirement..

Yeah I agree...his head space early in the year was bad..he looked defeated....this past month he seemed rejuvinated and almost like a different person

I don't know what the calls were...and what the defense presented to counter...nor do you...We may have called more Harris touches in redzone, but if the defense took it away...then whats the point...It all came down to what Zack called when he did his pre-snap reads...If you think we call a play and thats that and you run it regardless then your pretty ...not to be rude...dumb...thats not how it works. When an offence controls the clock by almost 12 minutes..has zero turnovers...scores 30+ points...and wins the game with balanced offence...yeah in my experience thats a pretty damn good called game...not sure what you wanted/expected but the end result was a W

People need to lose the notion that stalled drives are on an OC..Other team's are scheming against us to stop our scheme...thats football....I gotta say our 2 coordinators over the last 4 games were key in us winning...plain and simple...they gave our players the knowledge and plan to win...and they executed it to perfection We gave up 3 TD's all play-offs...3!!...and forced turnovers with picks...strips...and on 3rd down gambles Offensively...no turn-overs...and everytime a team scored on us...next drive we pretty much got it back...controlled the clock...the LOS..and won...we stalled on a few drives and got FG's instead of TD's but we got points...kept other teams offence off the field and our players were put in spots, and given great coaching to not make errors...kudos all around...this was a total team championship right down From Walters savy trade to the lowest position coach on the totem pole, and right through the roster...the whole roster..Guys like Hansen..Gauthier..Speller..Exume...Kongbo..Desjarlais..Bailey..Lawler all had game altering impacts to go along with our stars...back-ups stepping in to have to start...rookies making plays...foot soldiers doing key things...the whole TEAM won this...and we still had guys like Roh..Whitehead..Gray..Fenner ..Oliveira Couture not even able to get in line-up but if they did all capable of starting and having an impact..this team is set up nicely

no...I am saying he did...hence no need for Roh and we can continue to use that DI spot on a guy like Grant/Whitehead

yeah he's great....a perfect teammate and he has skills...in an expanded role he will be good

Oh he and Sayles are for sure...way back in off-season when we signed him I said that was prob one of the bigger if not biggest pick-ups...I forgot he was only on a one yr deal...I think he will be back..too small for NFL opp... Couture and Neuf are musts I think..and affordable...Woli and Demski need/should be back and hopefully we have room for Nevis and Maston...so of that list gotta's are Willie..Bryant..Hardrick ..Rose..Sayles..Woli..Demski..Strevler (at backup money which I think he would expect..not teir 1 starter yet and he knows it) and if money allows Nevis, Maston and possibly Fenner but he will need a shave in money...will he accept tho? I think with Kongbo and Hansen Roh's time is up...too bad but thats business...and Taylor may be on outs soley from age..he's what 32..33? Adams I would like and hope we have room for as he is a leader and glue guy and when healthy and not expected to be a true number 1 more than valuable...Augustine should be back..he isn't pricey and he has value..we still need 2 Canadian RB's behind Harris and Augustine has really excelled on ST The rest are expendable and easily replaced/upgraded...so to me keeping the majority of the core should be pretty doable...the big question is starter at QB and will be intersting how that goes

The difference between them and us..no quit...no lack of support...And proven by guts of Strev playing on one leg all post season..not just one game and his teamates feding off it, and there were others I am sure who were way less than 100 percent

YEAH he sure seems to have become a fan favorite..a face the team can build on and a must re-sign for sure for next year regardless of his role as back-up/starter in waiting
